Noisy & certainly not for fine dining more like Bar!

Beautiful venue, very good food. A little pricy but when you’re dining on the ocean what do you expect.

This was our second visit to Monte Mar, and it was as good as the first. The service is excellent; professional and friendly. The food is wonderful - we all enjoyed seafood and can highly recommend the sole meunière. Of course the setting is unbeatable, especially if it is still light enough to enjoy the view.

Fantastic place, just besides the sea. Good food and service, only disappointing was the welcome, she didn’t found the reservation, only when I showed the mail, and was unfriendly.

The food at the restaurant is always very good , We wanted to seat outside, but they didn't have any table available .We should had requested it when we booked.But service was excellent and quick.

Superb view and service. Food was excellent too. Recommend the sole fish with banana and lobster crepes. The fish soup was very nice too. However the fast, effective and friendly service makes this an excellent choice if you can reserve a table.

The only suggestion I have is that people should not be allowed to use electronic cigarettes inside the restaurant. Service was very good and the food was amazing.

The location at the terrace overviewing the open sea and the cliffs is amazing, the service is excellent as well as the quality of the food, we hsd shrimps, rice, octopus,, clams, the place to go , absoutely recomended . You can make it for 40€ if you dont get into wines, our case, we just had a house wine glass.

The location is stunning - set above rocks and liking out to sea. Unfortunately the quality of the food really disappointed. The staff were friendly and hard working but too much so. Running around the dining room didn’t engender a very relaxed dining experience.

The food is nice but not better than other top restaurants in Lisbon / Cascais. The service is terrible. If you are not a regular do not go as you will be treated as your money is not worth as much. We booked 3 weeks in advance and had to choose between a table under the sun with 35C and one inside at the back because the ones in the shade were pre booked for “special clients”.. They were very rude about it too.
