This place is expensive. It should be good for the price. Spoiler alert, it wasn’t good. We had the pescatarian menu. We left hungry. Avocado crab dish was good. Thankfully I had 4 pieces of bread. 1/2 of the dishes were a pudding type thing. We joked after dish 2 or 3 that the cod would be pudding and surprisingly and disappointingly it was a mush. Later on, the squid was very tough. There was not one substantial dish. I was probably served about 2 oz fish that was not a pudding, mush, or shredded. The popcorn dust at the end was good. I got a good story to tell my friends but spent more than I should have. Paid Michelin prices for not Michelin quality.

Thank you for visiting our restaurant. It seems that our delicate cuisine did not suit your palate. It seems that you did not like caviar and brandarde (a local dish in the south of France). Very disappointing your comment.

The chef stays true to his mission and training. Out of many multiple-Michelin-starred restaurants that I’ve dined at, Montee was both innovative and fresh. If you enjoy a farm to table flavor of culinary delights, this is your dining experience. Personally, I find a lot of 3-Michelin starred chefs too heavy on the salt and cream to make up for the lack of seasonality in their herbs. We all have different preferences and this fit mine perfectly. If anything, I wish there was a higher volume of the herb sauces because they were delicious. Don’t arrive expecting a “hearty” meal and indigestion/heartburn after the meal.

Being a fine dining place, Service is not qualified for handling special event. If you celebrating something special here, don’t expect they smile to you and they never try to help. So disappointed service does not meet the food quality

We have fulfilled the wishes you had written in advance.( seats near the window) You said a few minutes before we prepared the dessert.Can you prepare a small cake?or about cheesecake?Can you prepare those in a few minutes?Our restaurant is not a hotel.It's a small restaurant.I can't say that I can do what I can't do.We are not wizards.All the customers who come to our restaurant respect us.It's a very disappointing post.

A wonderful experience, perfectly implemented to generate a unique occasion. I went there to celebrate my couple's anniversary and found a small, quiet and beautiful space, full of simplicity and class; delicate and personalized service, incredible attention to detail, always followed by a small introduction of each dish, accompanied by a fine wine that enhances the fusion of flavors. Just grateful for the quality of the food, the service and the experience, I will definitely come back more than once.

It was a great discovery, very nice dishes with great taste. All was cooked to perfection and the was a nice play with textures and taste. The sake i discovered was also very suited to accompany the entire menu. I will come back.

The creativity of chef is far beyond what we could imagine. The selections of ingredients and the combination are just amazing. The appearances of the dishes are artistic and beautiful and I have found that the amount of salt used for all dished was just perfect and everything was super delicious. I selected this restaurant for my wife's birthday and she was very happy and very impressed with the dishes and services. We had a chance to talk to chef and his wife who served us their dishes, and they made the very warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic; a gem in this neighbourhood; it totally deserves its michelin star for the fine quality of the ingredients and the extraordinary creativity of the dishes; really loved it and would return anytime. Very subtle marriage between French traditional and Japanese delicate cuisine. You have got to try!

Super quiet, intimate dinner that was perfect for a business dinner for 4 people. The table for 4 was tucked away from the rest of the dinners. It felt that it was private dining at someone's home instead of being served at a restaurant. Food was delicious and creative.
