Food was good but not exceptional. Lovely restaurant. Good ambiance. To the local standard bit on the expensive side. The wine list was not so great, We expected that they would had a better wine selections, but this is only us, due to the fact we are wine lovers ????

The quality and variety of the food was amazing. The table and room setting and the overall environment was really nice too. The atmosphere at the disco was a little flat at times. The DJ played music that emptied the dance floor several times, I think he could have read his audience better! But overall we were very happy to have spent New Years Eve in this lovely restaurant in stunning surroundings. Thank you to all the staff.

A magnificent courtyard with tables along the cloisters, but not lit well enough, candles on tables would really help the atmosphere.

Beautiful elegant restaurant. Just right for a special occasion. The starters were delicious and then My husband had ribs infused with apple. He Sid they were delicious. I had the entrecôte. Also very good.

Firstly, the restaurant setting is so beautiful, in a stunning, calm historic convent. We ate outside in the quadrangle and enjoyed really good food with more taste and variety than most Portuguese restaurants. The service was perfect, attentive and friendly. Loved the experience of eating here

Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, we had impeccable service - friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing - I had the duck (an unusually large breast), and my wife had the sea bass. Highly recommended.

We loved the atmosphere in this historic building. Non- residents seemed unusual in the restaurant but we were made very welcome. Good, varied menu and excellent food. Certainly, we will return.

Great welcome from reception when we arrived and from the restaurant staff. Food was good but could have been better. A meal had mushroom in it but this was not mentioned on the menu. Not a good idea when people have allergies.

The hotel is beautiful and the main course was excellent for both of us ,the starters were a little bland .When we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order although we were the only people waiting.

A stunning situation in an exceptional courtyard. Lovely very competent and intelligent staff. Wine list is small but with advice we had superb white and red. The meal was original and delicious. A memorable evening for which thank you.

Although the waiters try to make their best, the food is not tasty. The fish dishes were overcooked and presented on top of an unnecessary heap of bland purée. The ambience is quiete and nice in the patio, but there was almost nobody there so the impression is a little bleak.

I lovely boutique hotel which was an oasis in the middle of Tavira. The food was only ok. My prawn and avocado salad was disappointing - cold boiled prawns. My husband enjoyed his stuffed sea fish bass. Not much atmosphere eating in the outside space - just an inner courtyard.
