Food and service is usually very good, but this time didn’t get what we ordered, had to send it back to kitchen and when correct meals arrived the scallops were overcooked. Overall service was good and the staff apologised for the mixup

Good, honest pub food at a very reasonable price (specially the seniors' and kids' options. ) Friendly service, lovely fresh salads.

Great value tasty food and very pleasant staff, prices are sensible and there is a seniors menu. Will be back again for sure for lunch as very convenient for shopping.

Great service from the counter, very good steaks. Everything happened promptly and we were checked on by the service crew regularly. Nice handy find for our stay in Launceston.

Always a great place to dine.. Food excellent but felt very sorry to the two staff members who were run of their feet resulting in being very slow with drinks & meals. At least one more staff would have made a difference. But we will be back.

Our first time at the Mowbray, our son who was taking us to the airport recommended the Mowbray Hotel for a meal before we flew out.it did not disappoint. Good food and service

Thank you to the staff of the Mowbray Hotel for receiving our group on Friday. Taking our orders at the table made it so much easier for us. The food was lovely. We felt safe as COVID rules were in place. Thank you!

Friendly staff made our experience exceptional. If meals come out on plate together instead of chips in baskets, it would make meals stay warmer and look the size they are instead of looking small having steak only on plate.

We have eaten at the Mowbray Hotel numerous times pre Covid19 always enjoying our meal. On the 23rd July (my husband's birthday), I found that booking our reservation was simple to do, our reception was very friendly and informative and then the waitresses were ultra fast and efficient with taking our food and drinks order. The meal was delicious, cooked exactly the way I ordered. Thanks so much. We'll be back.

Always a good consistent meal at the Mowbray, loved the scallops with the creamy tartare sauce. Others at my table were happy with their meals as well as the good service.

The Mowbray Hotel meal was excellent. They are managing the social distancing very well. Our waitress Bec was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. I would recommend going to the Mowbray. The online Fork booking system was easy and effective.

It was our first outing after being isolated for so long. We had the best waitress Bec, thank you so much for putting up with our crazy antics. It was so nice & refreshing to see her having as much fun as us. Even if she was working, excellent service. We don't get out much as we are workaholics. Thanks for a lovely dinner, definitely be back soon. ????

We booked online and received an email back saying we was all booked in. But when we arrived they had no booking written in the diary for us ?? Thank goodness it wasn't a busy night for them.
