Food came before drinks. We ordered pork belly. We were not told that it came with no vegetables or salad. We would have ordered some if we knew. Waitress told us this dish was one of specials. It was very small (only 8 small pieces). Maybe it was supposed to be an entree? We left very disappointed and unlikely to return. Have been previously and food plentiful.

We rebooked because we had a fabulous experience previously. The location is great however on this occasion we were very disappointed with the new menu. The service was extremely slow. We waited a long time for drinks and the meals were delivered ad hoc. Seven in our party. Our table was only set for six. Staff kept apologising. Clearly some problems on the day.

Only fault would be the hummus was a bit spicey on the kids platter.

Great food, wine and service in a unique building, The Barrel. Informative wine tasting before lunch. Easy access as it is just off the main highway. Highly recommended.
