Loved it here before, this time it was too salty and lacking in atmosphere. Nice people running it

With the 50% off promotion a good deal, otherwise too expensive for the quantity. The quality of the food was good, though.

We had fried onions, fried chicken and cheese nan as starters. Everything was well seasoned and flavourful, but the portion size of the onions and the chicken were ridiculously small and definitely not in a good relation to the price. That felt like a little rip-off right from the start.

The main dishes were Tandoori chicken and a shrimp curry, both accompanied by basmati rice. While the curry was creamy, the chicken dish turned out to be very dry (yet tasty).

The service was friendly, still I think it would be better if they asked people during their course whether they are satisfied, not afterwards. I also had preferred to get fresh cutlery with the main dish, but the waiter made us to use the forks and knives we had already used for the starters.

A big downside was that they burned huge incense sticks to cover the smells from the kitchen. In my view that's a no-go in a dining environment as it distracts from the flavours of the food (and, in my case, also caused a headache). Ironically, our clothes still had an intense kitchen smell the next day.

All in all, we were not completely unsatisfied but I think we will not visit this place again (especially not for the regular price).

The restaurant was fully booked, which we hoped would be a sign of a good restaurant. However, the serving was slow, the food was mediocre, the restaurant was quite noisy and ventilation in the restaurant was non existing..

Food was very good especially the homemade mango ice-cream and the garlic naan. Service were super nice although slightly slow (it was busy). It can get quite smokey inside since it's an open kitchen.
