9.5/10We came here for lunch - limited choice on the dish of the day for €9.5 with drink, but both were excellent. Veggie option seemed really considered and not just an afterthought. Highly recommended.

8/10A small menu with few dishes. It was tasty, but nothing special. Very good was the Jazz concert. The service was a liitle bit stressed due of (too) many guests.

10/10We ordered the 'menu del dia' (entree and drinks special) and were both very pleased with the meals. The specials change daily and the wine/drinks selection is very good. Nice offering of vegetarian options. I appreciated that the vegetarian options were more than just an 'after thought' that someone felt obligated to put on the menu, but rather, something that they were proud to serve.. We sat outside with a lovely view of a church. The service was excellent. We reserved a table at 1230 and were the only people there at first, but the restaurant quickly filled for lunch. I would definitely recommend booking a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a table.

9.5/10Great little find right in the centre of Funchal, went for the 9 euro lunch with wine and coffee which was great value and a good glass of wine both in size and content. Also went for an evening meal and this is an underrated place with innovative fresh food at a good price, staff were friendly and was a nice place to sit. Would recommend!

10/10Love the ambiance of this cafe/restaurant with views of the buildings and mountains, quiet in the evening, and very happy smiling staff. We had just a small meal of veg curry (delicious!) and starter of bread, olive oil and 2 spreads. Excellent value. It began to get busier after 8pm and we were the only people there at 7:30 pm. Sometimes I have seen music there in the evening but not the night we went. It was very pleasant atmosphere, with nice not-live music and food, while still being casual and unfussy. Probably more lively in the daytime. Lovely place to just chill.

9.5/10My husband and I ate here on Saturday. We booked early thinking it may get very busy for the fireworks. However, on turning up it was very quiet, only a few tables taken which felt a little odd. The lady who served us was pleasant and helpful. We both ordered the slow cooked pigs cheeks and they were delicious. We couldn’t manage dessert having eaten the generous main course but hope to return soon for the chocolate brownie!

7.5/10I already have visited this restaurant. The first time we love the slow cooked chicken breast and the over baked salmon, was everything really tasty. But, this time, I chose the fresh cod confit, sweet potato and peanut with sauteed spinach, coconut and toasted almonds. I wasn't so good, I love the flavour of the coconut but was too much coco. My boyfriend ask for a fish soup that was really nice. The attention was, like always, excellent! We will come back!

9/10Very friendly service, relaxed nice restaurant. The bread as a starter was warm and delicious. Beetrootrisotto was good and the portion was big. It did not exeed our expectations but we enjoyed it. As a desert we had local icecream Friic which was delicious. We recommend this place and would go there again.
