What a lovely surprise! Drinking delicious cocktails at happy hour, sitting on the well-appointed balcony overlooking the Saturday evening activity in Lane Cove Mall; and then really enjoyable up-market pub-style food for dinner. We shared the Charcuterie Platter, mozarella sticks, pulled pork wraps, and chicken and cheese quesadillas - all delicious. The four us us were very impressed. Oh - did I mention the music? Perfect! everythig we loved, at just the right sound level. We will be back!

The food was terrible. Everything was pre-made and frozen then reheated. This included the pizza , burger Pattie’s and onion rings. The food was fried in old oil and was greasy. The burger patties were burnt. The arancini balls came out frozen in the middle and had to be recooked. The place was not busy. The waiter was nice and helpful, we gave him points for that. Will never go back.

Great little place - loved the atmosphere, good music, comfortable seating. Food was good , extensive menu. Found it a bit hard to locate, they should mention it is upstairs and accessible via the arcade. Great value with fork discount

We decided to try out this bar after reading some good reviews online. But we were extremely disappointed! The drinks were ok - however we only ordered one cocktail and two neat bourbons (can't really ruin a drink which is being poured straight from the bottle!). The food was a different story. We ordered Devil Wings, a Dual chicken burger and a Holy Cluck burger. The Devil wings were bland and the coating was very dark - almost burnt. The chicken in the Dual burger was cold and definitely not freshly grilled. It was dry and hard like it had been cooked a while back! The "Southern Fried" chicken in the Holy Cluck burger was more like over-fried schnitzels. Again the coating was very dark like almost burnt. The cheese used in the burgers was the most basic (cheap plastic wrapped cheese slices). The chips served with the burger were again cold and full of oil. Like they had been refried in cold oil! All in all, safe to say that it's not a place to go for food/dinner. A bar being relatively empty on a Friday night should have given us a hint. Which is sad, as they have a great location. There are better places which serve similar drinks and much better food! A very disappointing experience indeed.

Nice relaxed vibe. Tasty burgers and refreshingly-cold beers and cocktails. Conveniently located opposite Gelatissimo… so dessert sorted too!

pork rib burger is not really pork rib but some ham and pork belly. Chips were extremely salty. Platter looked good but everything over fried. Taco was ok.

The burgers were delicious. THe chips were ok - thin ones. I just prefer thicker ones. Service was friendly and excellent.

We went midweek for dinner. The food was good and obviously very reasonably priced with the Fork discount. From the time we arrived the two gentlemen we liaised with - chef and waiter - were extremely helpful and very happy to cater for our needs. One of the meals was delivered slightly later than the other three, and they kindly offered to provide a free drink or dessert. No need - but the gesture was appreciated.

This is a bar setting with loud music and limited menu. The burgers are small but tasty . The seafood basket was a let down. It may not be a choice for foodies .

food was a fairly average & menu was a bit limited, does not cater to those with dietary needs. staff tried to be helpful but they have a fairly complicated system of qr code scanning to order and not being able to pay with cash

    Mystique Cocktail Bar (Owner)

We are sorry to hear that you had troubles with the QR system. We can see that your food order was placed at the register with our staff member & we do have the option for you to pay via cash and or eftpos at the register. We do also have all our items on our menu so we apologise if we were not able to cater for your dietary requirements. With having a small kitchen if we are not advised or questioned in advance for these kinds of request it does make it hard for a restaurant to allow for these requirements. We hope that you understand. We hope to see you again in the future.

It’s great to see new establishments giving it a red hot go. The staff were great & welcoming. The burgers were tasty & satisfying. We also had a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice drop. I think if the locals support this place & allow the team to really find their groove, it will be a real Kool place to have a few drinks & a feed with friends.
