10/10This restaurant was great! Very friendly staff, menu choice great. Our dishes were flavour excellent, plenty if food so needed to take some home. Great price, great wine. Will definitely return

9.5/10This place is a gem! The food is great and the staff are good too. Food is authentic - doesn’t have sugar added to it like so many other places. Chickpea Curry and Lamb Roganjosh were wonderful. Good value for money. We will be back!!!

9.5/10The food was excellent. Full of flavour. Dishes where presented well & looked authentic. If you want an authentic Indian meal that is cheap & delicious then New India is the restaurant for you. Just a little premises but this just makes it more appealing. Will definitely be back.

9/10Food was wonderful, very tasty, delicious and fresh. No frills place, but that doesn't distract from quality of food. Highly recommend. My son loved the butter chicken, best he's eaten!

6.5/10They needed more staff on as service was slow, even though we had booked. Some meals were excellent and others were a little cold but most enjoyed the taste. I think more staff on when larger bookings come will help their business as it isn't from the lack of the owner trying.

9/10The food at this little Indian restaurant was exceptional. The meat was tender, the food was cooked to perfection, hot and extremely tasty. The food was reasonably priced. We shared a bottle of wine and were looked after by an extremely attentive waitress. The only thing that lets it down is the ambiance, or lack of it. Less harsh lighting, candles or mood lighting would help provide a cosier atmosphere, but I could not fault the food or the service. Top marks from us!

New India Restaurant is located at the heart of the Adelaide CBD, and has been offering loyal patrons with a authentic culinary journey for the last four years, Headchef Gopal, with his decades of experience in various countries and numerous 5star hotels and restaurants has not only offered his expertise and knowledge but also has divulged some of his secret recipes, carefully formulated over the years in his various Chef's Specials dishes. The central location and the focus on the authenticity of the exotic Indian food has kept the New India Restaurant an absolute favorite among the locals as well as the Adelaide Indian community. Besides participating in community activities such as supporting the UniLife in UniSA, and wining various awards, HeadChef Gopal has been responsible for training young chefs in TAFE to continue on his traditional recipes, however they are sure that he keeps some of his special recipes such as those of the Malai Tikka, Kadhai Paneer & numerous more close to his heart only available to his patrons. Indian hospitality is famous globally where a guest is treated as god, and at New India Restaurant they believe in providing the best service and the authentic food at affordable prices as they want YOU to share it with your friends, family and loved ones.
