What a hidden gem: This was a unique individualized culinary experience that was honestly one of the best I had in my life. Was better than Masa which was a 3 M star in NYC. Highly recommend. Also for the first time had wine combined with sake paired to these exquisite servings and did not disappoint!!!! Wow

This is a food experience restraunt. The chef cares about everything that they put on your plate. You can also see as they make every plate. There is so much thought put in to each dish. I will be coming back.

The food is really nice. Service is friendly but a little bit inexperienced. Choices for non-alcoholic drink can be more. One of the people of our group asked for non chocolate flavor in dessert, sadly this was not considered.

I understand that the chef has the right to set the menu, but having no options for people who don't eat raw fish or fatty duck--and then charging 100 Euros for one a la carte item from a seven course meal (set at 137 Euros roughly) is unacceptable. The lighting in this restaurant was glaring, my chair was threadbare, and the wall next to our table was dirty. We waited for 10 minutes in the cold foyer while another guest was dealt with. We ended up leaving since my partner would not have been happy with his 100 Euro piece of beef. It's unfortunate because out of all restaurants in Frankfurt, we chose yours to celebrate a promotion at work. I lived in Japan for five years, and expected more than what was delivered in terms of culinary choice and hospitality.

Great food with excellent quality of ingredients, nice service but overall the waiting times were too long - our 10 course meal ended up taking about 5 hours. Outstanding dishes of the night were the sashimi, grilled halibut and the sweet potato ice cream!

Wonderful gastro-experience! Reminded me of best Kaiseki restaurants in Japan! Only slightly negative point: service was a bit slow towards the end of our meal.

it's all pretty decorated with various interesting ingredients. FYI, it takes around 3.5 hours for course menu regardless 7 or 10 courses. But some dishes are not tasty for me so that i may not visit again. it's worth to try definately! :D

今回は3度目の食事でした。価格が上昇しているのはしょうがないと思いますが、コース全体で五時間は長すぎでした。それと、待ち時間の間の水いかがですかが15回以上は多すぎ。また、メインの牛肉はただの半生で、たたきでもなく、固い肉の塊でした。おそらく料理長は試食をせずにこの肉を出したのだと思います。とても残念です。

As Japanese, I am happy to experience Japanese cuisine in Kaiseki style. I loved this very clean restaurant and detail oriented seasonal dishes. We ordered 10 dish course. Overall we loved each food and presentations. The assorted appetisers were fun and pleasant. Cooked fish with Japanese pumpkin were exactly what we eat in Japan. Yum rice made me think my childhood :) However the portions are too much and I would prefer less fries on menu or serving in smaller portion. This was my second visit but I’d love to visit in different season again.
