A wonderful Christmas day lunch; delicious food and generous portions. Tamara provided excellent service. She was very welcoming, friendly and exactly the type of waitress we enjoy having. A big thank you to entire team. We especially appreciated the quick response to our reservation and the excellent organization. The restaurant decor was lovely. Overall, an excellent experience.

A lovely Sunday lunch in relaxing surroundings. Tasty food and friendly service. We have been to No 3 several times before and its always been a good experience.

The staff were amazing! I forgot to order a gluten free afternoon tea in advance. The team were able to accomodate quickly. Then our guest of honour was delayed by an hour and a hlaf but the team allowed us to stay (there was space) and kindly delayed our meals. The afternoon tea itself was delicious, very fresh sandwiches and the cakes were very tasty. Only thing was the decor and music. The pictures look much better. I also didnt realise there was a difference between the restaurant and the bistro. The bistro felt very "premier inn". Could do with an update. But certainly would return!

Nice ambience, not too busy or loud so it was perfect for a Saturday birthday lunch for my mother-in-law with our 8 year old and baby in tow. Food was just okay - not amazing. Service was friendly but quite slow.

We had afternoon tea. Service was not attentive, had to strain to get attention several times. There were three of us but were given a tiny portion of Jan and cream that barely served one(asked for more obviously). Scones were tasteless, brownies dry. The rest was okay. Very stark lighting and music was like radio music, didn't seem appropriate at all. It wasn't dreadful, but I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.

Once again, I was really glad I booked this restaurant to show it off to a different friend! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals - he had the full English Breakfast and I had the chicken breast which was really delicious. The service was excellent, as always, and it was lovely to be greeted by regular waitress, Tamara, who is always welcoming, efficient and friendly. I will certainly be back again.

Delicious food with a fine dining atmosphere. Scones and sweet treats were devine, however fish sandwich is an acquired taste (not ours). Service with a smile and always willing to help. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea!

It was pouring down with rain but we still had a lovely time, choosing to sit outside at one of the tables under the balconies. Our food was great and our waitress, Tamara, was as always friendly, helpful and efficient. Thank you.

We all enjoyed our meals and though it rained we were delighted to be protected from it. The service was unusually slow today but as we weren't in a rush we didn't say anything. The ambience is always excellent.

It certainly is a hidden spot. My party of six is very happy with the restaurant. The food is lovely. Location is great. The staff who lead us to our table is very welcoming. He took our order nicely but came back telling four of us no scallops. It will be better if the chefs can give him a head up. It was quite a big gap between starters and mains. We were fine with that as it’s a good time to chat. One of the staff was a bit aggressive when she told us to leave. “We want to go home as we need to start again tomorrow at 8am.” I know we were there till quite late but the way she said it was rude actually. To be honest, it would have been better if we were told like 10-15 mins ahead. Another staff is so kind and polite who opened the door and said goodnight to us. It is a shame that not all the staffs are like him. Anyway, I will go back there again.

Well sheltered from the rain for outdoor eating . Friendly service and a very good Sunday roast . Set back from the road opposite the common so peaceful setting.

The restaurant is in a great spot - just a few minutes from Clapham South Station. Although on a main road, the traffic noise was not very loud and was not noticeable at all. The staff were amazing, very friendly and very accommodating and the food was just divine. Heaters were switched on, blankets and hot water bottles were provided for us as we were dining outdoors. Thank you for such an amazing time, we will definitely be back.

I met with two friends to celebrate a Birthday. I chose the chicken burger and it was really lovely.One friend had some sort of cheese ciabatta and said it was delicious! The other had the club sandwich which she found bit dry. Overall though we had a great time. The waitress was very attentive. One point to make is that I was surprised there weren't more parasols. If the sun is around they could double up as umbrellas during any showers! It is such a lovely environment sitting outside and I think we may well do this even when we are allowed inside!

Excellent burgers and chips! Interested to try other things on the menu. Great relaxed service. A great little local, perfect for after tennis nearby :) Would bring the family too.
