7/10I went there for a few times already because I thought there are really quality food there , but the last time I go, the fish was really over cooked, a flavor carbohydrates sadly I discovered that at end of my meal,the last piece of fish and I notified them , the serveuse asked me why I didn’t told them earlier which was astonishing for me , how I could know for earlier that their fish was over cooked? And there are no commerce gestion , their quality control really should get improved .and the service too.I would not recommend this restaurant anymore.pity.

9/10We visited Nodaiwa the first time: I had a course menu, and my partner had a big una-ju. What I was not aware was that nodaiwa is a Tokyo style unagi place, as we are more familiar with Kansai-style unagi, it was a new experience for us. Overall the service was very attentive, staff were very kind, and the food was good. I would go back ????

10/10Tokyo feel in Paris… Authentic unagi meal, tasty on a journey to Tokyo and back. Enjoyed the Koyo set menu with a Sashimi Duo and green tea and chestnut ice cream. It was simply Yummy.

10/10The most heavenly eel rice. There are variations of the eel rice on the menu (different sizes to suit all appetites, with different accompaniments). Efficient and superb service. A must in Paris. Be on time: it's very rude in authentic Japanese restaurants to be late.

10/10Lovely staff and food. The eel was cooked perfectly and their combination of lemongrass seasoning with their homemade sweet sauce complemented the grilled meat well. The roasted tea that followed was very satisfying. Thank you!

10/10Always enjoy this place. Consistently good food, service by well-trained staff and modern interior. They are serving food at the quality of Nodaiwa Honten in Higashi-azabu, which is truly amazing. Highly recommended.

10/10We are eel lovers and this is the best eels we have ever had. It is tender and not too sweet. In US, the the sauce of eel dishes were often overly sweet, and the texture is tougher, maybe because they were frozen. We wish there are more cooked vegetables on the menu. We definitely will come back again!

10/10Excellent food, service and ambience. I have been to one other grilled eel restaurant in a different country but it was not Michelin recommended although still at the same price point. For first timer, don’t expect the heavily glazed unagi. It is more like the sea water eel. It is not fatty and rich. More lean and lightly season. Instead of togarashi, you can sprinkle lemon grass powder which elevate the taste. I would also suggest to order the eel starters. They have the eel jelly, eel liver and eel paste fried balls. I order black sesame custard and something similar to daifuku and they are so delicious.
