Noi es un restaurante italiano que te cautivará desde la primera visita por su singularidad. Su chef, Gianni Pinto, huye de los tópicos de la gastronomía italiana y sorprende al comensal con mezclas muy, muy atrevidas. Con sus platos recorre por completo Italia: rinde homenaje al Sur con los sofritos y los fondos y a las recetas más populares con unos spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncico capaces de resucitar a un muerto. Encontramos fantásticos quesos como el parmigiano reggiano de 24 meses o el taleggio DOP, embutidos como la mortadela de trufa negra y productos de la huerta como los calabacines trombetta procedentes de Liguria que se comen solos. Y para acompañar tanto manjar, ofrecen un pan de masa madre que quita el sentido y una inmejorable carta de vinos italianos y españoles. Sin olvidar su tiramisú esférico, marca de la casa, que te hará recuperar la fe en los postres.

    Noi We were immediately taken to our seats despite being 20 minutes early and offered aperitivos. My girlfriend, who is a fan of Aperol Spritzs, insisted the one she ordered here was one of the best in Madrid. We ordered the caponata, the artichoke, a tagliatelle dish with fried baby squid and a spaghetti dish with clams. Every dish brought to us was accompanied by an explanation from the staff of the origins of the dish and the thought process behind it. The caponata was delicious, very well balanced and light. The artichoke was cooked to the point of dissolving in your mouth. The purée that was served under it complimented it beautifully, I couldn’t help but mop up the remains with a piece of bread. The tagliatelle with their arugula ‘pesto’ had a buttery feeling on the tongue which I enjoyed, the baby squid were fried to perfection. The textures of fried baby squid and al dente pasta played very well together. The spaghetti with the clams was my star dish. Clams tasted fresh and the sauce was light and zesty with just the right amount of heat to keep the palate active. Everything accompanied by a lovely Italian white from Piedmont. We couldn’t possibly leave without sampling the dessert menu, the tiramisu and the connolo caught our eyes. Interesting take on the tiramisu, very original with hard-shell rendition. Personally, the ladyfingers in a tiramisu the element I most look forward to, which were absent in this version of the classic Italian dessert, but I’ll forgive them for this one. The cannolo was light and crispy, the pistachio creme airy and sweet. A perfect way to finish the meal. I had nothing but good things to say. Mamma fkn mia.

    The restaurant has a nice setting and good service, but the mix of flavors in their plates is not for everyone, it is interesting to try it but once is enough for me, maybe I am not ready for such a mix of flavors
