9.5/10The menu is made to share and the food is really good. Only good surprises on the menu. The wine list includes some really good wines to go with any of the dish. On top of that, the service was really good with a staff who's smiling and attentive.

10/10Wonderful from start to finish. Just beautifully presented delicious dishes that was flavourful with every bite. Staff were lovely, friendly & attentive. It was my son's 16th bday & he said he won't forget this night!

10/10Major props to the interior designer for creating such a modern minimalist space! Great for any birthday, date night or casual dinner with friends. The service was great as our waitress provided great recommendations to our table and even confirmed what song was playing for me as I tried to Shazam it. We ordered the following: - Borrowdale free range pork neck coppa - Jack’s Creek wagyu 9+ bresaola - Wood roasted eggplant, pine nut & olive seed tarator, flatbread - Raw Hiramasa kingfish, avocado, finger lime, coriander cracker - Date glazed wagyu tongue, our yoghurt, sesame, baharat - BBQ spatchcock, harissa, toum, guindilla - Smoked lamb neck pastilla, golden raisin & caper salsa - Baby gem, our shanklish, lemon - Olive oil ice cream sandwich, halva, pistachio, honeycombe - Turkish coffee tiramisu, valrhona manjari, mascapone, cocoa nib Everything was delicious! Favourite dish: Kingfish Favourite dessert: Olive oil ice cream I was worried about the ice cream tasting like olive oil but it ended up tasting like cereal and was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and will definitely be coming back for more!

10/10Absolutely delicious food & we had the most amazing service, with our waitress explaining dishes so carefully to cater for someone like me with strict dietary requirements. One of the best meals and experiences we have ever had....thank you, Nomad!

9.5/10Vibrant evening, the menu (share plates) was interesting although contained a lot of items that had to be googled (e.g. guindilla, zhoug) but everything was very tasty & the service was very good for such a large venue

8.5/10Friendly waiters. Loved the burrata and flatbread but the lamb neck was too oily and lacked seasoning aside from salt.

10/10Nomad is very good for special occasions. Quality of food, drinks and service is excellent. Probably not for the every day budget. We will go back on another occasion.

When NOMAD first opened its doors in 2013, their aim was to bring together the best of Australian wine, produce and design in the heart of Sydneys' Surry Hills. Situated in a turn of the century warehouse with a large open central kitchen and bar, NOMAD is all about bringing together family and friends in a laid back yet beautiful atmosphere.
Their team of chefs work with the best local producers from around NSW and Australia, while their extensive wine list celebrates Australia's diverse wine community, with a list that spans the length of the country, showcasing the best small growers, producers and winemakers. From their freshly baked sourdough, brioche, lavosh and flatbreads to their own charcuterie and cheese rooms, the restaurant prides itself on house-made produce. Head chef, Jacqui Challinor's menu is designed to share and is strongly influenced by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, featuring specialty dishes such as their Cannellini Bean Hommus or NOMAD Jersey Milk Haloumi.
