10/10First time patrons who greatly enjoyed their meal. I chose an Amarone and the manager gave me great insight about the wine. Everything he told me was accurate! Our lunch appetizers were tasty, the pasta was delicious and my main course of sole was a presentation first. In short, this restaurant should be on your list if you’re in Dénia.

10/10Outstanding! Everything. The food had that WOW factor we were seeking, the ambience was low key, on the marina with beautiful views. The service was impeccable- Nerea and Ricardo attended to our every need - above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend! The pasta with tuna that was the daily special needs to become part of the regular menu please!!

10/10Right next door to the Ibiza ferry terminal on Denia marina, sits the restaurant Nomada. It is an elegant place, with skilled, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful, high quality furniture, shiny glassware and hand turned, modern tableware. There is a floor to ceiling hand crafted wooden bar, in the rear of the restaurant. But for us it was all about the view. So we sat in the glass walled conservatory, to the front, with to die for views of the marina and onwards, to Denia castle. The kitchen brigade are very talented, skilled and honed in producing a modern take, on Italian classical cuisine. An amuse bouche arrived, a tartare of smoked tuna belly, with tiny sweet broad beans and micro herbs. Dressed lightly and simply with a grassy, peppery olive oil. What a start. Starters were a charcuterie platter of 5 different cured meats served with hand twisted crunchy bread sticks. House made ricotta and spinach ravioli, pan fried with a fresh sage and lemon zest butter. A simple but elegant and delicious, penne Pomodoro and fresh basil pasta. And finally, an epic modern take on the Italian masterpiece, Vitello Tonnato. Perfect roasted, thinly sliced rose veal, with a classic tuna sauce. This one topped, with a quenelle of malt ice cream and crunchy pea shoots. A pretty much perfect bowl of food. Main courses were 3 different wood fired pizzas. The bases made lovingly from 2 different mothers, over 20 years old. Yielding a yeasty, sour dough flavour to the elasticated, crispy, smoky bases. Two topped with more of the scrumptious Pomodoro Ragu. One a spicy Diavola, topped with Calabria sausage, spicy salami, red chillies slices and fresh creamy mozzarella. The second, a huge Calzone, filled with Italian ham, provolone and more of the mozzarella. The third pizza was from the gourmet selection, the Marrone. A pizza like no other you have seen before! Square dough rolled, like a scroll and layered with chopped mixed mushrooms and aged blue cheese. Then delicately topped with pulled confit of duck and it's foie. Finally dressed with a sherry vinegar jelly reduction. Wonderful. The last main course was a scallop and cauliflower risotto. An inventive dish, compiled of plump arborio rice, layered with thinly sliced roe free scallops, topped with a roasted cauliflower puree, before a light dusting of coral powder. Different and exciting. Puddings were classic Tiramisu, cut from a large cake table side. Light spinge soaked in coffee liqueur with mascapone and rich with egg yolk. A chocolate Twix which was more of a Wagon Wheel, with a caramel ice cream was perhaps the weakest dish of the day. An ultra modern take on banana split was playful as well as delicious. But for the Trencherman the best came last. A platter of aged Spanish and Italian cheese. A huge cheeseboard was wheeled alongside us and then the waiter, carved and plated 7 amazing cheeses. Served with golden raisin sourdough bread and a sweet apricot chutney on the side. Magnificent. Good coffee to finish a wonderful meal. All this wonderful food was liberally washed down with mineral water, gin and tonics and a really good Albarino Rias Baixas white, or two, from the north of Spain. The wine list is very comprehensive, including a very good Italian selection. It offers many good choices, and has options for all wallets. It's not the cheapest of places, that's for sure, but the all round high quality of service and food, with that amazing view, make it worth every penny. So much so, that we have already rebooked, for a return visit. Nomada Restaurant, Denia Marina, go on, treat yourselves.

6.5/10I think they reduce the portion size for the festival The kitchen can Def cook but it's overpriced at normal rates They eed to change the menu occasionally Restaurant was a little cold Overall I like Nomada but it prices itself for marina/ yacht trade rather than everyday public I

4/10In the radiant coastal town of Dénia, where the Mediterranean Sea laps the shoreline, perched proudly with a panoramic view of the harbor, town, the enchanting Castillo, and surrounding mountains, rests Restaurante Nomada. Upon arrival, the restaurant invites you into its relaxed and pleasant aura, with friendly staff eagerly waiting to embark you on their gastronomic journey. However, as my visit progressed, it appeared that the restaurant was more a spectacle for the eyes rather than a treat for the palate. The journey began with a modest serving of truffle-oil croquettes, and a portion of bread that was notably dry and sweet, seemingly a product of a supermarket than an establishment of this caliber. However, the Mushroom celeriac followed, which offered a well-balanced, albeit simple pairing, hinting at a promising culinary voyage ahead. This promising glimmer peaked with the Carpaccio of Sliced Scallops with Coconut, Yellow Aji, and Red Pepper. This dish was the crown jewel of the meal, flaunting an incredible harmony of flavors and a clear understanding of the intricate culinary craft. However, the rarity of this brilliance amidst the rest of the menu gave the impression that it might be more serendipity than skill. Following this shining beacon, however, was a tragic fall from grace. The Red Prawn Ravioli had a consistency reminiscent of playdough, chewy and overwhelmingly thick to the point of being inedible. Regrettably, the staff showed little concern for the uneaten dish or our satisfaction, an unfortunate oversight in customer care. The Vitello tonnato seemed like a revival of cold, leftover Sunday lunch, swathed in an excessively salty, claggy sauce and oddly accompanied by ice cream. This puzzling and unappetizing combination paved the way to the Safron Risotto, a dish that seemed like an egregious insult to Italian cuisine. Adorned with a gold leaf, the dish epitomized the restaurant's penchant for superficial grandeur over substance. A welcome break arrived in the form of the Apple white chocolate pre-dessert, featuring fresh ingredients and a clean, delightful taste. Yet, this was tarnished by an overly burnt tweal, tainting the palate with the harsh taste of charred sugar. The grand finale, a Trifle layered with rose and raspberry flavors, had a jelly topping so thick, it seemed more like cling film, again hinting at a gross misuse of ingredients. Despite these shortcomings, the Petits Fours offered a fair ending, but the single serving of each type led to a less than cordial scramble at the table. Priced at 90 € per person for the full ESSENZA tasting menu, my experience at Restaurante Nomada was underwhelming, to say the least. Moments of passable fare were significantly overshadowed by culinary disasters and frequent misuse of ingredients. This made several dishes almost inedible and a distressing overuse of salt was apparent throughout. While the stunning location and inviting ambiance may lure diners, the food sadly does not deliver. Based on my experience, it's no surprise that Restaurante Nomada has yet to earn a place in the Michelin guide. My advice to potential patrons: come for the view, not the food.
