    About the restaurant Nonna Rosa

On the whole very good, food, ambience and service. One waiter was a little disinterested, but the hostess and waitresses very attentive.

What a nice surprise for me and my husband. Not only is this a lovely restaurant with the open fireplace blazing away, but in the corners of the main dining room are (as everyone has said before) the collection of small automobiles where they have been changed to accommodate seating for 2 and a dinner table. We were so pleased to get the 1958 Fiat 1100 where we relaxed in the back seat with a view of the fireplace.

That would be fun, but the food was the 'cheery on the top of the sundae'! We enjoyed delicious antipasti (pear and lardo bruschetta, and the other fried dough with prosciutto. The pasta dishes didn't disappoint and the dolce of apple strudel was light and refreshing.

Oh, we are scooter and motorcycle fans and the collection in the Vespa bar across the main floor was wonderful. All in all, we'll be back!

The gluten free pasta was good. The gluten free bread was OK when served warm. The atmosphere was more Florida motel than Tuscany unfortunately. The service was OK but it took a long time to get the bill.
