Nu Nautilus offers a unique combination of exceptional food, decor and service that were all beyond expectation. Being located right at the waterfront of the maasboulevard most tables offer a waterview. With Roermond being well-known for its waters this offers both during the day as during sunset a very special view and atmosphere. The food dishes are beautifully presented and decorated and the quality of the food is exceptional and probably beyond what one would expect when reading the menu. While most dishes are referred to by simple names on the menu(sate, steak stroganoff, chocolate dessert, etc) they are prepared and presented in a more delicate, fine way with a combination of surprising flavours. The steak was incredibly tasty and the chocolate dessert was our absolute favourite in months. Being presented as if it were a piece of art the flavours of dark chocolate moelleux, white chocolade icecream, pear, cream and star anice formed a very delicious and special combination. The place is run by two incredibly welcoming, kind and charming young men who apparently were friends that worked in different restaurants before they started this together and are clearly invested in the business and in offering their guests a great dinner and evening.
