Good location. Parking at the rear. The service was great - served with a smile and very friendly. The butter chicken was amazing - creamy and full of flavour. The naan bread and accompanying rice was great to combine with the curry. The samosa swirls were also amazing. We tried the coconut garlic prawns for entree. Unfortunately, only 5 small (like extra small) prawns were served - basically covered the garnish. It was a shame as the sauce was lovely - but there were no prawns - they were not even school sized prawns. Otherwise everything else was great for dinner. The food definitely has a unique wonderful aroma and indian flavours. Good value and good location.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant & again we were convinced that it is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane, without exception! After dinner, we ha a chat with a Frenchman who was sitting at another table & he confirmed our assessment! He happens to be a local restauranteur himself and has travelled throughout the world sampling the local dishes as we have. He concurred with our view that the primary reason why the other Indian eateries do not come up to par is that they dumb down their dishes to the local taste buds! This is a definite "no, no!" If we want to eat local dishes, we could have turned up at a western eatery serving the usual steak and vegetables. The reason a gourmand goes to eateries from other ethnicities is to taste their offerings as served in their own countries, and NOT concoctions imagined to be what the local populace likes. Thank goodness, we the more discerning diners were served what were much closer to what was served on the Indian sub-continent. We cannot compliment the couple running Nutmeg more highly than to affirm that we were indeed served Indian food as it should be prepared! The Chicken Bombay chicken and Saag Aloo were great, but the Goat Curry & Agar Lamb Kebab were DIVINE! To quote General Macarthur: "I shall return!"

One of the best goat / mutton curry in Brisbane. The butter chicken was awesome -> chicken were grilled (tandoori style) before the sauce were added, making the meat flavorsome. Will be back!

Nice atmosphere. Didn’t seem to have enough waiter/ waitress to handle all the customer. Food was nice but the portion size is rather small.

Lunch for 2 ...if you like authentic onion baji sweet and light, start with that. The lamb sliders (2). perfect entre size. Where you can actually taste the 12 hour lamb inside, is a top starter as well. The lamb korma was unctuous....the medium heat was savoury and good for all tastes if sharing....if you like hot hot... ask for the hot and they are happy to give you more chillies on the side. Had a bottle of suggested sav blanc and it was a great match and very well priced... if you live local you really should give it a go. There was plenty more on the menu that i wanted to have a go at. And will when I can. Staff are superb. Dont normally talk on media. But felt like I should this time...

Enjoyed our dinner at Nutmeg. Started with combo entrees of tandoori broccoli, chicken tikka along with garlic naan bread and yummy mango chutney to top things off. Very nice lime and chilli chicken curry as a main. Thanks for a very warm welcome and service.

Entrees had a fun, modern twist and were all delicious! The mains were great too, and everything was very reasonably priced. The service was fantastic and the wait times were short. Would definitely come back here again :)

Enjoyed the curry dinner we had. Both the Chicken Bombay and Goat Curry were delicious and the spice level was very pleasant and hot. The Tandoori Broccoli entree was also very tasty. Highly recommend!

Respect their 'hot' is ferocious. Avoid anything Vindaloo unless you have a problem with your digestive system and want to inflict severe punishment.

The portions were rather small. Our meals were satisfactory but it didn't excited us. The service was great, however the atmosphere was anonymous.

Delicious food, with the lamb sliders a highlight (though the onion bhaji was a close runner up). Mains and naan breads were lovely, but it took over an hour for our mains to come, which was disappointing.
