A comida caseira é muito gostosa e o atendimento, aparentemente por pessoas da família, é eficiente e gentil. O local é simples, mas bem limpo e organizado. Mais importante... Não se faz de sofisticado, não é pretensioso. O preço é muito bom. Voltaria sem dúvida.

Excelente atendimento, desde a entrada até sair do restaurante. Gostei do atendimento e da simpatia dos colaboradores. A comida estava deliciosa, as sobremesas estavam muito boas, recomendo a mouse de chocolate.

We really enjoyed our lunch at O Barril. Every day they offer two choices of the meal of the day. Today, it was grilled pork or cuttlefish. I opted for the pork and it was excellent. The other 3 diners chose from the menu and had Salmon, Sea Bass and chicken. The bill for the for of us was €56. So we added a small tip and paid €63. We will return there soon.

Great food for affordable prices. Very friendly staff and good service. We loved the cod cakes, pork steak and pulvo salad. We'll be back for sure!

It cannot impress at a first glance. The real thing happens when the food arrives to the table. The “petiscos”, what in Portuguese are called to small portions of very typical food, are the greatest, really remind the food made by our grandmothers. Good portions served very carefully and good looking manner. We have tried also a meat dish, very well served and really tasty. You will be able to also find a variety of particular deserts. A great value for money restaurante, where you will be able to find real portuguese food.
