The best place to see the sunset in Faro. Nice waiters, good food.

First time and what a great venue amazing food and service with great views over Faro and the airport

We had an octopus with sweet potato and veal steak and both were absolutely amazing. Oh, we had the pumpkin jam goats cheese on toast bread for starters and as simple as it was, the combination was just incredible, so delicious. It was my third time in O Castelo and I would definitely come back another thousand times. Obrigada!!!

Waiter asked if I had booked a table - despite their being nobody in the restaurant - the restaurant is huge I surprised him by saying yes! So he had to let us in! Food was great - I had veal which was fab and my sister had the sea bass which she said was very nice.

we went there on a Fado night, the concert was really beautiful. nevertheless, the food and service quality were disappointing (salad, vegetarian burger, tapas). Maybe the meat and fish dishes are better, this I don't know. The waiters didn't seem to be interested, would forget that you asked for salt, bill, didn't come to pick up the money even. and I would totally understand if the restaurant would be very packed but it was not the case. We wouldn't go again.

We liked the food and loved the view, especially during the sunset. The restaurant itself kind of looks more like a lounge bar but it's nice for dinners as well. Nice music and band. Service was poor, although everyone was nice. The place was not full or crowded but still we found the waiters not very attentive. We waited 1.5 hour to eat or even get drinks (I think they lost our order the first time) and you have to try and get the waiters' attention sometimes (like for coffee or for kind of speeding things up a little bit). We were not in a rush but still would have appreciated being able to eat during sunset. Maybe I'll try again.

Lovely view when sat outside, nice cocktails, ordered a small tapas to gage the food quality and wasn't impressed. Hard to gain waiter's attention when requesting the bill.
