Great venue to watch the sunset. A place we like to book every time we come to Madeira. The decorating has definitely improved the look of the restaurant. Food is always good and staff very attentive.

The food was lovely but the service was terrible. We asked for the dessert menu and after waiting 20minutes we then requested the bill instead. 30 minutes later I went to find our bill by which point my husband had left with our daughter. Very disappointing and such a shame as the food was good but unlikely we’ll return.

Even though we had a reservation, restaurant did not seem to be expecting us when we arrived. Table in pool area was ok and food very average. Not somewhere we would be rushing back to.

The restaurant had a very upmarket but relaxed feel. The staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly, and gave great advice regarding wine and food, and did NOT do this to increase the price. The meal was really very good, and the evening excellent. Highly recommended!

We love this restaurant and have visited each time we’ve been in Madeira over the past 15 years. The staff are extremely polite and attentive and the food is top notch. I particularly recommend the Espada with banana and the espitada (steak skewer)

This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away behind a hotels with excellent sea views. The food was excellent, well presented with great attention to detail. I has the parrot fish for first time and it was some of the best fish i have ever had. Chocolate almond ice cream with hot chocalate syrop was also excellent. Just wish we had found this restaurant earlier on in our stay. Was the best meal of our one week stay on Madeira.
