Great food, fantastic wine, impeccable service and all that for a reasonable price. Will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful meal at O Laranjeira and everything about the restaurant helped to make it one of our most memorable meals. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is perfect. Our starter was a tasting platter of local food, where each part was delicious and the combination wonderful. My kid (goat) main course was tender and full of flavour. I can't recommend O Laranjeira highly enough.

This an excellent family run restaurant. The service is smooth and friendly. They are very helpful to non-Portuguese speaking customers. The key point is that the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

Some dishes were better than others (there were 8 of us) but the welcome and service were excellent. Compared to many similar places I have eaten in Portugal this is a little on the expensive side. However I would go back.

Lovely family run restaurant with very friendly staff. Best food we have had since arriving in Portugal but seemed very quiet for a Friday evening in Viana town.

The best meal we had in 13 days in Portugal: from entering to leaving the restaurant we were warmly and graciously taken care of by our wonderful hostess and her family. The food was a partially traditional and partially new approach to Portuguese cuisine - a perfect balance without pretention. Many dishes I had not seen on menus here or in Porto but had read about. Delicious sauces and preparations. Wine list and recommendations were perfect as well. This restaurant was started 70 years ago and grandma still presides quietly from the family table near the kitchen. Go!

A very pleasant and tasty experience! The owner explained the menu with lots of flavour and these were perfectly correct....all in English. Great place to eat!
