Staff was very friendly. Drinks were great and food was good. We ordered the pasta and it wasn't what we expected. Had a curry flavour to it. Tasted more like a noodle dish rather than a pasta dish. The Octopus was ok. I'd prefer a little less onion. Overall it was a good meal.

Definitely the worst restaurant I've been in Algarve so far. Very rood and unprofessional staff. No matter how good is your food, which was not the case unfortunately if your staff is no willing to provide that little of service and kindness no one will come back to your restaurant. We felt unwelcome the all time even at the end when we were asking the check they try to overcharge us. I will not recommend to visit this restaurant

The restaurant view is amazing, you can see ocean from both sides. Appetizers were amazing, pasta - was super delicious ???? but octopus as a main dish was not really special. Very nice place for romantic dinners and family lunches. Definitely will come back ❤️

Lovely meal. Cosy inside the restaurant with the fire. Great service and food was delicious. Just needed a little volume on the background music as it was a bit too quiet. Looks like a great place for summer with the outdoor seating.

Delicious meal served quickly and in generous portions. Drinks and food are not overpriced. Nice decor and lighting for dinner time. We had the cured tuna salad, grilled spare ribs, braised octopus, and chocolate mouse. Will return to try other menu options for sure. Recommended!

Beginning of February and things are quiet around here. Booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday. Nice atmosphere really pleasant comfortable service and the fresh fish and all else we ate was exceptionally well prepared. Nice menu Very happy we came by. Will do it again. Don't pass it up

O Rustico was recommended to us by a local Portuguese lady. She said out of all the restaurants in the Lagoa area (and there are alot!), this is her favourite, and always her first choice. I can 100% say I agree with her now we've had the experience. The steak I had was the best steak I have ever eaten at a restaurant - and I've eaten alot of steaks all around the World. The waiters were second to none - very attentive and professional. The ambience was brilliant - a live acoustic guitarist who played and sang music that worked well with the setting. The price of the meal, while quite expensive, was perfectly acceptable given the quality of the food. There were 5 of us, and 4 ate some of the top priced food on the menu, so you could easily eat cheaper if you wanted to and still enjoy the venue. All in all, 10/10 - and I never give 10/10 easily! If you get the chance, go - I recommend one of the steaks!

Went here as our first restaurant since arriving as it was close by and because not used to driving on these ‘roads….’ Place was lovely, food fantastic. I had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection as was the tenderloin. The tapas was lovely and the portion sizes were large so 3 was a lot of food. Service was great, super helpful and friendly with explaining what some items were. Will definitely be going again before we leave.
