What a gem this restaurant is! Service was top notch (weren’t sure about the Spanish wine varieties so they brought one to try and were happy to change to another; we weren’t keen on the blue cheese with the salad so they changed it for a somewhat milder one). The dishes we had were beautiful and the atmosphere sitting outside in the courtyard was perfect for our last night in Spain.

Comemos de entrada: laminado de pulpo à feira. Pratos principais: merluza del pincho al albarino e carrilleras de credo ibérico com polenta. De sobremesa: crema inglesa, cacahuete y dulce de leche. A entrada estava muito boa, acompanhada com um pão rústico. Tanto o peixe como a carne estavam muito bons, o staff foi atencioso e trouxe os pratos separadamente para assim provarmos dos dois. A sobremesa foi o final adequado para uma experiência a repetir.

Hake like you have never tasted before, just divine. Incredibly helpful staff, who wanted to share all the background details to the food and wine. I have dined here before and it was brilliant .. I’m so glad nothing has changed

Outstanding pulpo and a great wine selection. Enjoyed the chef seafood of the day and finished with cheese cake. After dinner drink of licor 43 topped off the perfect night.

Highly rated place was out of the high tourist area. When we arrived (early) it was closed and appeared all boarded up but at one minute before opening hour it opened up like a flower blossom. Quaint little place with several small, different rooms. We had a small room to ourselves for most of the evening. Waiters were kind in explaining the night’s specials and the menu in general (we speak English only, it’s a Spanish restaurant) and our meals were excellent.

So glad we looked on trip advisor. You're unlikely to stumble across this restaurant. It's down a side street a couple of minutes from the very touristy old town. The food was superb, the staff were passionate about it and very helpful. Almost all of them spoke good English. Portions weren't particularly large and we managed 3 courses. Highly recommended.

Excellent, friendly service. The food was wonderful. I am in town for only three days but I may have to return! Don’t miss the pork cheeks with polenta or the croquettes with chestnuts and chorizo.

Entering the charming courtyard (watch your head) you have little sense of the experience that awaits. Elegant surroundings yet in a rustic setting. Attentive service, with the ability to make non-Spanish speakers feel at ease (thanks, Sergio!). The food was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and exquisite to taste. There is a clear pride amongst the chefs and servers. We loved all that we were served. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!,

Lovely restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing - possibly the best I’ve ever had (the Pig cheeks were particularly good). Also have a good selection of wines - I asked for a bold red and was not disappointed by the waiters choice. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices good for the quality. Worth the short walk out to this amazing restaurant.

Our lunch was excellent. The food and service was top notch. The crocas were tender and cooked to perfection. I asked for a side of vegetables and they were unbelievably delicious. Also, it was my daughter's birthday so we were seated in a private area of the restaurant with an annex room for opening gifts and to have our coffee. It was perfect for kids. It was pricy, however, so expect to spend a lot on drinks, desserts, and bread (I thought 9€ for bread was a bit much). I totally recommend this place!

This restaurant is situated just outside the Old Town in a superb old stone house. The food is superb. The staff are friendly and clearly enjoy providing food made with fresh ingredients. We loved the vegetable risotto and the octopus capaccio.
