The food was wonderful. My friend and I shared the vegetable risotto and cod with cauliflower purée and fennel. Both were excellent. The wine recommendation was spot on.
The staff was welcoming and helpful with explaining the menu and accommodating my gluten allergy.

I enjoyed the food and the hospitality very well. Except that the location was a little bit away from the city center, everything was perfect. Well deserve the good reviews I read.

Highly rated place was out of the high tourist area. When we arrived (early) it was closed and appeared all boarded up but at one minute before opening hour it opened up like a flower blossom. Quaint little place with several small, different rooms. We had a small room to ourselves for most of the evening. Waiters were kind in explaining the night’s specials and the menu in general (we speak English only, it’s a Spanish restaurant) and our meals were excellent.

The meal was excellent. The service was a bit spotty at first. Sat there for some time before waiter cane for order - no one asked what I would like to drink - I had to ask. Some of the specials were “out” and I was among one if the first diners. The atmosphere was superb and the service improved as the Neal continues. The croquettes de quesos and hake were sublime. Would go back despite the minor negatives.

That’s a great find from last year so we decided to come back a year after and it was an excellent experience again. Very delicious food, everyone enjoyed it and extra ordinary service which took care of us. For sure that wasn’t the last visit there.

Excellent, friendly service. The food was wonderful. I am in town for only three days but I may have to return! Don’t miss the pork cheeks with polenta or the croquettes with chestnuts and chorizo.

So glad we looked on trip advisor. You're unlikely to stumble across this restaurant. It's down a side street a couple of minutes from the very touristy old town. The food was superb, the staff were passionate about it and very helpful. Almost all of them spoke good English. Portions weren't particularly large and we managed 3 courses. Highly recommended.

Entering the charming courtyard (watch your head) you have little sense of the experience that awaits. Elegant surroundings yet in a rustic setting. Attentive service, with the ability to make non-Spanish speakers feel at ease (thanks, Sergio!). The food was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and exquisite to taste. There is a clear pride amongst the chefs and servers. We loved all that we were served. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!,

Lovely restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing - possibly the best I’ve ever had (the Pig cheeks were particularly good). Also have a good selection of wines - I asked for a bold red and was not disappointed by the waiters choice. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices good for the quality. Worth the short walk out to this amazing restaurant.

We chose O Sendeiro as it is next to our hotel but we could not have chosen better. The welcome, service ambience and food were all second to none. We shared starters of carpaccio of octopus and baby scallops followed by perfectly cooked tuna- all absolutely delicious and even managed to finish off with local Galician cheese and a citrus dessert. A perfect culinary experience.

Our lunch was excellent. The food and service was top notch. The crocas were tender and cooked to perfection. I asked for a side of vegetables and they were unbelievably delicious. Also, it was my daughter's birthday so we were seated in a private area of the restaurant with an annex room for opening gifts and to have our coffee. It was perfect for kids. It was pricy, however, so expect to spend a lot on drinks, desserts, and bread (I thought 9€ for bread was a bit much). I totally recommend this place!

This restaurant is situated just outside the Old Town in a superb old stone house. The food is superb. The staff are friendly and clearly enjoy providing food made with fresh ingredients. We loved the vegetable risotto and the octopus capaccio.

From the outside the restaurant looks closed, but once you enter through the archway there is a really nice courtyard where you can sit and have some pre-dinner drinks. The restaurant is in an old building that has been decorated in a modern style which works well.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, explaining the specials and recommending the specials of the house. We had the cheese croquettes to start, which were good although not particularly exciting and could have done with some garnish. I had the hake, which I can't fault, the fish was fresh and came with some perfectly cooked vegtables and tasty sauce. My wife had the pork cheeks, which were tender and tasty but only came with polenta, they could really have done with some green vegetables to finish off the dish.

All in all an excellent all round experience of great ambience, good service and excellent food, well presented.
