What a lovely restaurant! We found this little gem and we are so glad we did. The food was so fresh and tasty, the waitress was more than accommodating when we asked lots of questions about the menu (unfortunately we are not dutch speaking). After our meal a group of locals kindly asked if we wanted to join and watch a local football match. A really lovely, welcoming restaurant.

Description

Restaurant-Cafe oKay is sinds 2009 gevestigd op de hoek van het Entrepotgebouw, uitkijkend op de Entrepothaven en de Kop van Zuid. Bij oKay zit je in een gezellige sfeer, maar buiten de drukte van het stadscentrum van Rotterdam. Van oudsher was dit gebied het centrum van handel en nijverheid. Het Entrepotgebouw 'De Vijf Werelddelen' uit 1897 herinnert aan roemruchte tijden, met pakhuizen die vroeger werden gebruikt voor de opslag van koffie, thee, suiker en specerijen. De gevels, de gietijzeren kolommen en oude hijskranen zijn nog herinneringen uit deze tijd. Tegenwoordig is dit sfeervolle pakhuis het decor van restaurant-café oKay.
