on arrival it turned out that our table was not ready yet, although I had already reserved well in advance, once a table we stood next to a machine that made continuous noise. All courses were lukewarm in taste and not building up so everything tasted the same. For dessert I ordered the cheese selection, it consisted of only 3 different hard cheeses and 2 types of mustard. For a restaurant that wants to maintain certain requirements for its quality, I thought the restaurant did not meet that, I am disappointed.

What an experience!!!! The food is absolutely delicious and the view is spectacular. They were so accommodating towards my young toddler and the service was impeccable. I would rate this place 20/10 if I could.

We did the chefs 5 course tasting menu. There were some genuine highs to the restaurant. The views were spectacular. One dish on particular, the soup stood out as a star. Unfortunately the experience as a whole was disappointing especially at the price point. The food on the whole was fine. Apart from the soup, it was good but not great. Beautifully plated but not worth the 300 euro price point for 2 people. Unfortunately, the service is where it really fell apart though. The restaurant is positioning itself as a fine dining restaurant with fine dining prices and there were just too many big mistakes. First, I was still halfway through the pasta course -literally with the fork in my mouth - when the server came up and told us she was ready to serve our fish and took my plate away. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen in a fine dining setting before - but I was willing to let it go. Then at the end of the meal the server brought out the petite fours., one plate for 2 people. Not 2 of each 1. Four different ones to share between 2 guests. My partner actually asked where the second plate was and the server replied “It’s fine, they’re complimentary” When he responded that it wasn’t fine, she said “that’s ok.”Then later came back and said it was the chefs fault not hers and no one had ever complained about having to share one plate before. Then before leaving the met came by our table with a selection of 3 digestives and 4 glasses. 2 people, 3 digestives, four glasses. I guess you’re supposed to choose which one you don’t want? I know this is a really harsh review and I want to mitigate it by saying we had a great time. The views were spectacular. The food was mostly not memorable, but good. And the soup was a star. But given the price point, it was disappointing. Had the price point been 33% lower and the service been average I probably would have rated this restaurant highly.
