My friends and I have had lunch at 1 Kew Road many times. It is a comfortable restaurant and the tables are so too close together, but some of the seat cushions are very wworn and could do with renewing. We have always found the service very good and the staff are attentive and friendly.. Unfortunately on this occasion they had run out of two dishes that I was going to order, so I had to choose alternatives. The food is good, so are the portions.but ithere is far too much batter on some of the dishes (halloumi, goats cheese & mushrooms)
