Didn’t have our booking when we arrived so we put in a covered outside area (at night). Took 50mins to get our food but we were lucky - table next to us still hadn’t had their drinks after one hour (let alone food). Another table had had their starters but no more food since being there 2.5 hours. Another table walked out. People were very unhappy. Not sure if this is the usual experience. The inside area looked busy and congenial. When our food came it was hot and tasty. Waitress forgot to bring our bill though. Shame, could have been so much better.

What an amazing hidden gem, tucked away under the streets of Bath and right beside the river. You don’t expect to find these wonderful cellars underneath your feet. Then to be met with some of the best service we have had in a long time and wonderful food, perfect.

Wonderful venue, tastefully decorated in a unique setting. Food was well presented and delicious and our waitress was excellent she was attentive, friendly and efficient. The only thing letting our visit down was the poor condition and cleanliness of the toilets.

We were put outside which was a little chilly even with the heaters. Food was lovely and the waitress was great we didn’t have to wait for anything. Toilets were a bit disgusting and reminiscent of some you’d get in a nightclub.
