10/10Me and my boyfriend thought we would visit this restaurant on our trip to Naples, and we cannot rave about it enough! We went for the set menu, and each course was absolutely delicious. The duck was the best duck I have ever tasted in my life. Our waiter was so attentive- telling us about each dish, recommending wine pairings and explaining the whole thing in English. We haven’t had such attentive service or delicious food in ages. If you’re in Naples - this place is not to be missed. Thank you to for making our anniversary trip so special!

7.5/10difficult to get if one is close to the port, was mayhem to get up there due to notorious bad traffic. staff was nice. Food was good but not an outstanding experience we expected intentionally choosing Opera.

7.5/10Davide made our experience unpleasant! The giant waiter similar to Nino of Castelo Ratimbum demonstrated his capacity of being arrogant, rude and unfriendly treating customers with even certain debauchery!

10/10Lovely and casually elegant dining experience. Excellent service, friendly staff, beautiful venue. But, it is the food that makes this place a must! To start, the bread and olive oil are delicious and unlike other places. Care and attention given to what is served is obvious; the variety of “amuse bouches” brought were terrific. All the seafood was “sea fresh” and prepared to highlight its real flavors - the pasta perfectly cooked.. We were very happy with our choices and found their prices very reasonable.

10/10This was an exceptional meal. The flavors and taste were elegant sophisticated reinterpretations of traditional foods and ingredients from Naples. The weight staff was fantastic, attentive, thoughtful, and humorous. They were also able to supply gluten-free options for my mother which made her night it was an exceptional meal and we will send all of our friends here when they come to Naples.

6.5/10I was really keen in going to Opera when in Naples and indeed food here was nice and tasty with a very good presentation, however the service completely killed the experience! At such a high end restaurant it is unacceptable that: you get a fish dish just after you have said that you do not eat fish; get wine that is blurry and clearly contaminated and that you ask for wine suggestions and you get a plain wine/food pairing when you have been told the sommelier will come and suggest you wines. My business partner chose a meat tasting menu and with one of the dishes he got a blurry wine which had something floating in. Then as a snack which was offered by the house got a piece of cuttlefish, while he told them at the beginning that he doesn't eat fish (after being asked if we had some preferences or allergies). On the other hand, I had chosen 2 fish dishes and I asked if I could get some wine suggestions with my dishes. I was told that the sommelier will come. Unfortunately he never came and I only got some wine glasses with each of my dishes. I could still omit this as my wines were good, however definitely in each glass I had a different quantity of wine (the second one was almost double the first one). Finally, I asked for an espresso and I got a bag of sweetener with it, no question if I want sugar or even at such a place I would expect they have a choice of different types of sugar... Personnel at Opera is definitely not delivering a service for a restaurant where for a dinner for 2 you pay almost 200 EUR with just a couple wine tasting glasses with your dinner. Unfortunately, the bad service completely killed the food experience you expect in this place.

3.5/10We arrive no one dining but us have us menu and they have only five or six items you can order by yourself everything else either at least two people had to order and the next entrees everyone in your party had to order the same thing. So we had no food to pick from 3 of us ate my husband did not. The good the three of us got was not good just mediocre. Run away from this restaurant. The food portions are very small. After we ate we left went back to our hotel and ate their.

dear Vahna, We were eagerly waiting for your review. We are very sorry that you did not like our restaurant, but it is our duty to clarify the situation for those who read your review. Our menu includes 5 starters, 5 first courses, 5 second courses and 5 desserts, plus we give the possibility to choose between 4 tasting menus, one meat menu, one fish menu, one vegetarian menu and one seven-course menu with meat and fish dishes . The only dish that was missing the evening you stayed with us was fettuccine with black truffle, and once the waiter informed you of the unavailability of the dish we couldn't understand where our mistake was. The fact that you didn't like what you ordered is purely subjective and we're sorry. As for the portions, they are studied and balanced, but you certainly can't expect to fill yourself up with a starter. Unfortunately I can't tell you anything else, you can read the rest in the reviews of other users. Thanks anyway for giving us a chance.

10/10I am a wheelchair user and whilst I can get out of my chair to sit in a seat normal seating is very uncomfortable for me so I asked to be seated at one of the benches they had. Even though this was a larger table and only 2 of us dining they accommodated me. These things really matter!! Thanks to Ricardo for doing this and a great service and food!!!

10/10We started our trip in Sicilia, Modica and Riposto. There we had a lot of nice restaurants. More with the level €€€€ than €€-€€€ restaurants. But now in Napoli the Opera Restaurant was absolutely the best. Everthing was perfect. I have some allergies and I’m vegetarian. Not the easiest guest they are waiting for. I informed the crew ahead and they took care of me. Fazit: my husband and me had a wonderful 4 courses dinner and enjoyed it very much.

10/10Exceptional food and service. Not “traditional” Neapolitan food (except for the octopus salad), but very imaginative preparation and presentation. The table side tea service with our duck is a good example. Just a great night out

10/10Lovely meal as always. We had the 8 course food and wine pairing this time. Highlights were the Genovese pasta, the Sea Bass, the Duck and dessert. All the wines were perfect with each course. Service was top notch!
