Food was good though not exceptional. Somewhat pricey, and be attentive: menu prices for the seafood platter, for example, must be multiplied by two, as it is price per person, not per dish

Mediocre overpriced food with terrible service. We waited 20 min for a menu , two items from the order were missing, with one still included in the bill.
Will never visit this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone

Well, the atmoshepere, location and the quality of the menu is excellent. But the service was just horrible. To order the dessert we waited 30 minutes and then another 40 minutes to get it. The seafood was delicious, desserts are not so recommended. The worst tiramisu of my life; lacking taste and too creamy, italians would see this as a curse.

Beautiful design ! That's it ! Bad service : We waited 1h30 to get our dishes in an almost empty restaurant...and there was a mistake in the order. The food was ordinary. It was our first time in this restaurant but our last. It's a pity !

The platters are very well prepared and excellent value for money. Our IENS booking had not been recorded. We had a booking for 4:15pm and went around that time. The food was not on the table until 5:15. The atmosphere is nice and I love the location.

Yesterday eaten at Opporto and much anticipated but ultimately it was a great disillusion! Starter I had chosen Sashimi, on the plate were three major forks on each fork wrapped a thick slice of salmon or tuna. No idea if the idea was that you should eat at the fork at one time but I pushed the fish of forks and further eaten with knife and fork. Not my idea of a beautiful sashimi. As a main course opted for the cooked mussels. When I asked the staff how the mussels are cooked, I was told, 'cooked'. I understood but I mean the further preparation, Provencal, white wine and cream, how are the mussels seasoned? She had no answer. Eventually, the mussels were tasteless, small and dry. I dit not finished it, it was really flavorless! After the main course, we got the dessert menu, only the ‘dessert menu’ which was a dirty folded A4 sheet, Opporto must really be ashamed! one of our tablemates asked the waitress for a dessert wine, here the lady had never heard of it and she did not think there was a dessert wine on the menu .... After she checked on the computer for 10 minutes she told us that they indeed do not serve dessert wine. The only dish that one of my four tablemates does have enjoyed was a nice copper pan with Cataplana Royal but if this one dish was the excessively high bill worth .... no! Bad food, bad service, never again !!

Wat ontzettend jammer om te moeten vernemen dat jullie ervaring bij Opporto is tegengevallen!

Ik begrijp uw recensie niet helemaal (lijkt vertaald te zijn), maar zou het op prijs stellen als u deze nogmaals in het Nederlands (of correct Engels) wilt plaatsen zodat we een gepaste reactie op uw recensie kunnen plaatsen.

Beste Opporto,

Mijn Engelse tekst is vertaald door een computer, vandaar de vreemde Nederlandse tekst. De Engelse tekst lijkt mij echter duidelijk. Op Facebook hebben jullie op mijn recensie al jullie 'standaard' reactie gegeven. In kort; de kwaliteit van het eten en de service van het personeel staat niet in verhouding met de hoge prijzen. De sashimi en mosselen waren zelfs zo slecht dat deze niet op een restaurant kaart thuis horen. Ik zal geen reservering meer maken, zeker gezien het grote aanbod van goede restaurants in Rotterdam.
