It was Important that there were gluten free options and the staff understood the allergy. We were very happy with the service, food drinks even though the restaurant was very busy everything was great and very good value especially when you book ahead online.

A lovely spot and the staff was super friendly, greeting us warmly when we arrived. We got a table outside by the canal and it was cozy and quiet. Joni, our waiter, was smiley and friendly and kind. The food was good. We would be happy to return. (We didn’t remember about the discount unril we’d left and they didn’t bring it up).

Delicious food and wine (and bread); great waiter (Erickson.....who isn't Venetian, by the way, but incredibly attentive and fun!) Very local casual place - but one of the best meals we had in Venice. We'll make a point of returning on our next visit!

We were promptly seated and we ordered and antipasto of calamari and julienned vegetables . I had Spaghetti with seafood and my daughter had the tagliatelle with squid ink. We shared and it was divine! My husband had a carbonara and he loved it. We also had a perfect tiramisu’ to end the meal. Really lovely meal!

We passed this restaurant when it was closed and thought it looked nice, so made a reservation. When we arrived, we discovered that the atmosphere was not what we expected with an open grill bar next to the tables with several guys cooking noisily behind it. and very loud and obnoxious music. Nonetheless, we persisted and ordered two courses. Neither course was good at all and we only ate a small port of the second. When the waiter picked up our plates and asked if it was "good", we responded "not good" and he then had a tantrum, demanding to know what was wrong with it. When we complained about the noisy atmosphere, he then told us that we should have walked out when we walked into the restaurant and we wish we had! After we asked for the bill, he then came back to the table three more times to argue further, until we asked for someone else to bring us the bill, which they did. We strongly recommend that you avoid this restaurant for all of the above reasons!

Very good quality and fresh food. Service was also excellent - they made sure to give us the nicest table available and were very kind and friendly throughout our lunch. Highly recommend this place and would love to go back!

The waiters were incredibly helpful and polite and extremely friendly! Great hospitality and a welcoming smile. Food was spectacular and the ambiance was infectious. Would go again in a great city full of lots of people and restaurants. Get the homemade tiramisu even if you aren’t a fan. It’s worth it.

This is a great restaurant buried in the depths of the less trodden parts of Venice. We wouldn’t have found it with Google maps and even then we almost walked past it. The food was really good and not only tasted great but was presented really well. Portion sizes were good and overall this was a really enjoyable at a reasonable price in the centre of Venice.

I found this place by searching for the best Calamari in Venice. But this was not the case; I was disappointed in the portion size. It is a small restaurant, and we found it via the back alley. There were two secluded tables, which was nice.
