This was a very good little restaurant. We were welcomed and shown straight to our table. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, in what appears to be a very old building. Jazz playing quietly in the background really added to a calm and cosy feel. Food was excellent. We shared an octopus salad as an appetiser which was soft and tender. My wife had a spaghetti vongole starter. The dish had a courgette sauce which she really enjoyed and made the dish a little fresher than normal vingole. I had an aubergine pasta dish with soft cheese which was delicious. Both had a fish main. My wife had an excellent tuna dish which was perfectly cooked and I had sea bass which again was cooked to perfection. And well flavoured with herbs and accompanied with vegetables that were perfectly al dente. A nice bottle of Laguna wine complemented the whole meal. All in a very good meal. Would highly recommend and would be very happy to return.

Amazing Gem in Venice. Away from the main tourist areas, authentic food made with expertise and a modern take. Excellent wine and the owners are wonderful.

Restaurant Owner was quite unplolite when arriving - he had a wrong booking time from The Fork. I showed him my Reservation Mail and I got a small table. Service then was not that friendly compared to the other guests. Next time I make my Reservation via telephone - definitivelly NOT via The Fork. Food was good but too expensive - a simple cooked cod fish with vegetables and boiled potatoes (prepaired without phantasy) for € 20 is not ok. Mind the "Tourist" gap.....People in Venice should take care on customers who stay some days in a Hotel in the City (and pay € 3 City tax) and who want to spend good Money for good meals...

Friendly staff but disappointing overpriced food, seemed like they were trying to experiment with new things that evening and failed. Cosy environment and place in general. Good location.

Found this in the Fork and glad we did. Had a wonderful lunch with fresh seafood in a warm welcoming Osteria. Great dessert too.

Small place. Only a few tables. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent. Compared to other places the food really looked and tasted homemade.

Cozy locally owned restaurant off the beaten path. The mussels were delicious. Good wine. Pasta was cooked well. The desserts were amazing, especially the tart

I booked a last-minute (and quite late) reservation and was greeted warmly by the proprietor. As a solo traveler (and diner) I was happy to see (affordable) wine by the glass and a delightful menu. There were so many options for all courses it was difficult to decide, however I landed on the eggplant parmigiana with pesto to start which was fantastic. My main was the fritto misto, a simple but perfect preparation of gently battered and fried shellfish and vegetables. I usually avoid this dish since it can be heavy-handed and cloying but in their chef’s hands it was sheer perfection. And I had no idea that mussels could be fried! Even though I was the last table of the night, the staff made sure that I was well taken care of throughout my meal. Bravo e grazie mille!

Cute little restaurant. Food was a mixed bag. We we a large party of six. Some of it was really good some of it was not warm enough and just not good. Women serving the food were nice, but waiter seemed irritated. Overall C+

The food was divine and the service was so stellar. My father in law was with us for dinner and he has Parkinson's. They were so accommodating about his disability and thoughtful about what he would need for his comfort (what kind of chair he would need, for instance, to ease his rising up from the chair). Really so kind! They called for a water taxi when asked and he even walked us to the dock where we could board it. Thank you!!
