Perfect
Greeted with warmth and sincerity, I felt welcomed as if family. Outdoors seating on a quiet backstreet, provided a perfect lunch spot. Menu items listed both traditional and creative Roman cuisine, all prepared to a high quality and abundant.
A love.y meal in an intimate setting - met expectations.
picked this restaurant at random for a Sunday lunch with my friends from Scotland. Booked ahead. Everyone enjoyed the food , the service was as you would expect from a busy establishment. Was also full of Italians usually a good sign . Great spot for a Sunday lunch.
Really nice place, great food and great service.
Read the reviews online and were quite pleased so we booked a table for that same night. Arrived to a quaint, family-feel reataurant off the main road. We were welcomed inside and seated at a lovely candle lid table. The service and food was amazing and the house red was delightful. Ordered desert and were treated to complimentary lemoncello and homemade slice made by one the staff. Dinner wasn’t rushed and the restaurant got busier over the night. Would highly recommend booking and enjoying a meal at this restaurant!
Very nice meal, good portions, nice atmosphere, good service.
Lasagna was the best
Not as good as normal. Hope it was just an off night. Had to send a course back because it was cold. Can’t remember the last time that happened in Rome.
Every time worth to visit again!!!
We first ate at Osteria del Pegno in 2003 and have done so on every visit to Rome since; the owner now remembers us, in part because of some shared musical interests. The welcome is warm and the service is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, in short highly professional. The two rooms are simply decorated, with Rome-inspired murals. Last night the clientele was almost exclusively Italian, folks who seemed to be really happy to be there; the 'buzz ' was a jolly one. The menu consists mainly of Roman and Italian standards, all displaying first rate ingredients and serious, knowledgeable preparation. I always go for the rabbit which is delicious. Five stars!!!
Outstanding dinner experience! Such good food and excellent service.
Yet another fine evening at this marvellous place. The food and wine were as always a pleasure. This is really the best restaurant in Piazza Navona area.
Year after year the quality remains or even improves... a real pleasure when I’m in Roma!
Great little charming pearl with really good authentic Italian food. The owner and the staff were very welcoming and entertaining and the place itself very cozy with great atmosphere.
Food was good. Owner was not too friendly but did recommend entrees to us. Service was fair. Nice quiet location.
As always, over the years, excellent service and truly delicious Roman food. One of my few, favorite restaurants in Rome, that never varies in its culinary performance. An all-round pleasure to eat there.
Excellent! I will be back. Thanks!
