Nice location good customer service. Food was very average. 3 of us and one had pasta, I had chicken and my daughter had Oso bussco. All were just ok.

The food was outstanding and the value extremely high (about half the cost of an equivalent meal at other restaurants in the area) and the tables are not crowded together We tried typical florentine dishes including pici cacio et pepe, pappardelle al cinghiale, and tagliata of beef and of chicken with contorni of roast potatoes and arugula - all superbly executed and presented. A wonderful evening with great wine, service and food. Open for about a year, this has not yet been found by the mainstream tourists, perhaps because it opens from 7pm and does not have continuous service.

A perfect meal. We were a party of four and sampled the carpaccio, a salad, several pastas, and chicken and beef entrees. All were meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is clean and modern with the right amount of Italian flair. It is on our list to recommend to friends and we will return!

When we arrived at Osteria dell'Oca we had to wait 30 minutes before I had to call someone to come to the table to give us a menu and ask for drinks as we had completely been forgotten. When we finally got the menus and order some water they forgot about us again for other 30 minutes, When the waiter finally came along with our water,we managed to place our order. We got a plate of cured meats with some bread as a starter. The bread was stale but we were too hungry to even complain. 20 minutes after we finally got our mains: lasagne, clearly microwaved, and tagliatelle with boar ragu, which was okay I guess. We then shared a tiramisu, which would have been nice if only the coffee in it hadn't still be warm. What a disappointment. To apologise themselves for the long wait, we got offered a glass of vin santo, but the bottle had dead flies in it as it was left on the counter without a lid on. When the lady collected the payment she was having a personal phone call right at the table. Definitely not recommended.
