9.5/10We had a wonderful time. We visited Cantine Bernardini in February 2019 and had a fantastic experience. We were sad to hear that Cantine Bernadini was closed, but please to know that Osteria Miranda was a sister establishment. The food and service were exceptional. Two of our party had significant dietary restrictions that the staff and chef were able to accommodate seamlessly. The ambiance is not the same as Cantine Bernadini (understandable considering the historic significance of that location), but it was still a very pleasant setting We highly recommend Osteria Miranda

10/10We were really impressed by this place! You can order off the menu or settle in for one of three different tasting menus: vegetarian, earth (meat), or ocean (fish). We did the ocean menu, and it was delightful. We paired it with local bubbles and white wine, following helpful recommendations from our server. There was never any lag between courses, and all the food was great!

We had the meat tasting menu and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant does not feel pretentious but delivers on quality and creativity. A perfect end to our trip to Lucca.

Our lunch experience at Osteria Miranda brightened up our rainy day in Lucca. This was our second visit & it was even better than the first! We recommended this restaurant to friends which also went & had a wonderful meal.

Amazing wait staff that truly cared about what was being served alongside food worth caring about! We had 3 courses each and everything was perfect. Couldn’t recommend more.

10/10Extremely welcoming and pleasant atmosphere as you walk through the door. Service begins when you walk in and does not stop until after you walk out. Food delicious with many unique dishes. We had an excellent time.

10/10We were recommended to go here by the chef! He works in their gelato cafe in another part of Lucca one night a week. When we met him there we had to find Miranda! Stunning food. Loved all the little extras in between. The staff were all wonderful. A lovely end to our holidays. We will be back!

+4The food was SO GOOD! The waiters are incredibly sweet and we got a lot of extra small in-between dishes. We also received a free glass of prosecco and all water was also free (which we didn’t know upfront). Everything we ordered was just excellent, so unexpected mixes of tastes. Can only recommend!

8/10I booked a table for 5 after reading great reviews. On the day another 4 people from our Tour group wanted to join us, so one of the them called the Restaurant and spoke to Uri to see if they could add to our table or if they could have a separate table. He was quite rude, told her the Kitchen closed at 2.15, although our booking was for 2pm. When we arrived we had a long table outside and he informed us that we all had to have the same pasta to make it easier for the Chef. However, we did all choose our own meals in the end, but it left us feeling uncomfortable. The food was all delicious and well presented and the tasty treats in between were very tasty. The local Wines were lovely and we had plenty of fresh water. Yuri was more pleasant during the service, and the other waiter was very attentive. When we asked for the bill, one of the Ladies was treated off handedly when she went inside with her c card. We think we were treated that way because we were 9 Ladies. Disappointing

10/10Fabulous restaurant in Lucca, within the centro storico but outside the very busy areas. Food is innovative and really superb and our service was warm and professional. Really 10 out of 10.

10/10The experience was excellent. Five of us visited Osteria Miranda for lunch. The chef sent a corn-based soup to begin, and it was a perfect start to the meal. We shared a selection of cheeses and a mushroom burretta for starters. Both were exceptional, as was the bread they provide with every meal. Each of us had a pasta, and it would be hard to say one was better than the others. All five were delicious. Our wine was a sparkling rose, and it was a great complement to a wonderful meal. The service was perfect. We’ve spent four weeks all over Italy, and this was one of the very best meal we’ve had. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

The service and food were exemplary. Worthy of a Michelin star. Best meal we had in Italy. We had the tasting menu and it was amazing. The staff really looked after the children too, serving them with their own nonalcoholic cocktail.

10/10Osteria Miranda is an absolute gem. Reasonably priced food and wine, innovative and extraordinarily tasty menu with some remarkable flavour combinations. An absolutely excellent place for a dinner reservation. The staff are exceptionally attentive and well-trained and the pace of food delivery was perfect. Could not recommend the restaurant more highly.

Nice place close to the center.We were welcomed kindly and Juri, waiter, explained the dishes. Service was outstanding. From appetizers to first course it was all truly delightful.

10/10Osteria Miranda is a wonderful restaurant, we were looked after by Mattia who is a credit to the restaurant, he went above and beyond recommending courses, and expertly explained the flow of the dishes working together. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and tasted spectacular. Highly recommend the restaurant and cannot wait for our next trip to revisit Miranda’s again. A true gem in Lucca
