9/10Very nice ambiance of the restaurant, although I was unable to get a seating at the garden. The waiters are approachable and friendly, and the portions of the food is good.

10/10My wife and I visit once a year from Boston, Massachusetts USA. This ristorante is a hidden gem…. I could write a book detailing the excellent/positive experiences we gave here…. Do not judge by the front… Giancarlo, our server, who has worked there 20 years will take excellent care of you… did I mention you are getting 5 star food quality?… also, only locals… no tourists like us!!

OSTERIA NUOVO CONVENTO - Tre fratelli sardi gestiscono un ristorante dall'ambiente classico, la cui specialità principale è la carne. Osteria Nuovo Convento si snoda nello spazio di quattro sale, in cui i profili in mattoni a vista e i mobili in stile tradizionale creano un'atmosfera accogliente di tono un po' rustico; d'estate si mangia anche nel grande cortile interno. CARNE A VISTA - La cucina e il grande banco a vista rendono evidente la specialità del locale: al centro del menù ci sono le carni, soprattutto alla griglia, e i piatti sardi e toscani. Tra i piatti significativi: la tagliata di manzo, la fiorentina, le polpettine al pomodoro... PIATTI SARDI - Non mancano il carpaccio di carciofi crudi, l'insalata di piovra, gli spaghetti alla bottarga, le malloreddus alla campidanese, gnocchetti al pomodoro, tagliatelle al ragù, e non mancano i dolci fatti in casa, e una scelta di vini per cui sono proposti attenti abbinamenti.
