5.5/10The food was just not good for us. The french fries were tasteless and our dishes, ham and shrimp, were very mediocre, especially for the very high price. The service was very nice and friendly. A very disappointing and expensive dinner.

9.5/10Definitely off the beaten track! Lovely local Belgian food. I had the sole and my husband the pork special. They were both delicious and really good portions. Prices were comparable with Bruges. It was quiet but it was also a Tuesday night.

Practically perfect in every way. Rustic decor and food, large portions, reasonable prices. Just a few minute walk from the center of Bruges, and the crowds were gone. Loved every minute of our dinner here.

10/10We booked for three people for an evening. The restaurant is off the beaten path and does not disappoint. It is nicely decorated, service is lovely and the food was great ! We will definitely come back there for our next visit to Bruges.

9/10This charming restaurant offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The welcome is warm and sincere and the service friendly and attentive. The varied menu offers something for everyone - although vegetarian options are limited, as they are throughout the city. We loved the cheese and shrimp croquettes, the fresh bread served in a paper bag, and the crème brulée. The house wine was also very good, as was the coffee. Prices are a bit steep but you are paying for a uniquely personal service as much as the food. We would definitely recommend for a quiet, intimate experience.

6/10The food was delicious. However, this was almost entirely ruined by the complete lack of ambience and atmosphere. What a shame. Could have been stunning - but wouldn’t go back.

5.5/10Good food but absolutely no atmosphere. There was more noise in the mortuary. Service ok, but nothing special. I can think of many other places in Bruges I would rather visit. Sorry but it's our first and last visit

9.5/10Found on TripAdvisor and did not disappoint. Very cute and down to earth place. The prices are stiff, but the quality it great. Garden chairs weren't that comfortable or stylish, but that did not bear down heavily in the rating.

10/10It was a great experience on our first night in Bruges. The dining area was cosy and welcoming. We had a three course meal a la carte, the food was of excellent quality. Definitely recommend for an authentic local dining experience.

9.5/10Beautiful small restaurant with fantastic seasonal and traditional food, the server was lovely but there was only one of her so she was kept extremely busy! Even with booking in advance we were there over an hour before we got any food, so not the place to go if you're in a hurry, but it was so delicious and the setting was so lovely we didn't mind at all!

10/10This is a great family run restaurant, to which I have been a few times. Everytime food is great, and service impeccable. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing. A great choice for good conversation with friends while enjoying good Belgian food.

9.5/10Lovely restaurant, the Flemish style asparagus was very very tasty, and the Flemish beef stew was delicious for a Chinese like me, cause it tastes very close to Chinese beef stew. Will be back to the restaurant next time in Bruges.

4/10The food was not bad, but service so and so, the waitress had preference for everyone just not for us, I don't know why, maybe because we had a child 3 years old (we booked the table for 2 adults + 1 child) and used English, not Dutch

10/10White asparagus was sublime, and the ribs divine (but huge so not for those with a smaller appetite!) What an amazing job this husband and wife team do ...and just the two of them. Highly recommended for both food and ambience.

10/10Out of the way and a 15 minute walk from our hotel, but really worth it. Good food, good service and reasonably quiet. If you like your restaurants big and noisy then this isn't for you. There are only a few tables, so at busy times it would be a good idea to book in advance.

10/10Despite living in and around Bruges all my life, it was thanks to Forks we discovered this wonderful historic restaurant for the first time. Loved the food and the atmosphere and good service. Will definitely be coming back.

10/10Very delicious food, traditional but not old fashioned. The dining atmosphere in the old building was very nice, too. There were only two tables of guests for a Monday evening, but the service was warm-hearted yet not too much of being annoying!
