4.5/10The menu seemed really good, and we were excited to try it out. The starters we ordered (gazpacho, battered green beans and veal croquettes) were lovely. The main meals (tuna steak with french fries and a side of beans, and black pork tenderloin with mashed corn bread and chorizo) were far too salty, so much so that they became too much to eat and we couldn't finish them. We had ordered a bottle of wine at the beginning of the meal, which was lost somewhere in translation and we didn't end up getting the bottle. That didn't matter, as we ended up having two glasses each, but added to the overall odd evening. The restaurant is huge, and whilst we were there early by Portuguese dinner eating standards, it was still fairly quiet when we left so it seemed like there were lots of staff stood around at the bar with not a lot to do. The staff were very friendly and attentive though, so wouldn't fault them other than the wine mix up.

10/10Around for >40 yrs, this restaurant still feels fresh and "on its toes". Excellent food. The traditional Portuguese staples impeccably prepared (like your grandma from the countryside would consider really good) and yet with a modern twist. Materials top notch. Great wine list. Sommelier outstanding. Service runs like a well oiled machine, while still being personable. All in all we were very happy with our meal. 10/10.

7/10The food is no more than OK once you account for the price. You can find better cheaper, let alone at this price point. Also, the only way the average price is the stated 25€ is if you just get a dish and ask for tap water. Even then... depends.

8/10The service was excellent. My wife’s sea bass was excellent and my pork fillet was dry and good but not great. The cornbread mush was tasteless. We were not impressed at everything. The green wine was very good. Sadly, the restaurant was empty.
