    If you are visiting Bologna this is a must-go! The food was faultless, from the fresh olive oil for the breads to the rich flavour-packed broth with the tortellini. The service was excellent and created a relaxed environment perfect for the food. Highly recommend the suggested parma ham from a local farm in the region, incredibly tender and the best parma ham we have ever had!

    The food was very good and very particular!!! The wine list was special. I suggest to eat there. It is possible to eat outside even if I had dinner inside. The prices are not too much expensive

    Some really innovative cooking here, which worked beautifully. Some twists on more traditional local fare too, we had a mix of starters, pasta dishes and desserts, no misses, several outstanding. If we'd been able to return would have tried some of the mains. An excellent inexpensive Sangiovese too.

    Excellent food with decent variety at each meal stage - both cheese and meat starters awesome (including variety of chutneys), pasta's (one vegetarian and one meat )were both extremely full of flavour and excellent cheesecake. Nice choice by Front of house re the wines and this place is definitely worth visiting - always a good sign of a well run kitchen when the food is delicious on a Sunday night after a busy weekend - thank you

    Recommended to me by a local and it didn't disappoint. The food was good, the presentation was great, and the staff was helpful given the language barrier. I would visit again.

    The one downside was the appetizer. I thought we were getting fresh anchovies on toast. but, what we got was toast and anchovies still in the can. This cost 15 euros! The main dishes steak and salmon were delicious and the wine excellent. my advice to the restaurant? Stop serving anchovies in the can.

    The service was inattentive. With no other tables occupied another party of two was seated next to us in cramped quarters at the end of the interior seating well after we had begun. Why? The wait staff had to squeeze between the tables to interact with the guests next to us. No hope for privacy or romance or even a feeling of safe personal space. As a restauranteur, I could not fathom such decision-making. We ordered two bottles of wine (One white and one red)... Amid great confusion (this could have been partially our fault and on any other day at any other place, we would own it completely-- "my bad". But not here and not tonight. Wait staff inexperience or indifference -- not trying to get it right. Our wine was nvere poured after opening. The red was served at 68 to 70 degrees. (The wine maker may have a cause of action here.) The food varied from good (duck) to really (I would say "literally" as I could not eat it, but"literally" is so overused.) inedible (costoletto). It was full of gristle and atrociously overcooked. When this was brought to the attention of the wait staff we were told that this dish was twice cooked (Silly me). Of course we understood this before ordering. it made no difference to the staff. It was obviously my fault for ordering it. What this dish is not ( Costoletto Bolognese),or at least not supposed to be, is fried to the point of being black, which it was. Simply inedible ... Assisted by the quality of the cut being served ... All gristle and no meat. I have lived ,worked and vacationed in Italy for forty years. I confess to being an italophile. It has clouded my judgement at times. I apologise to no one for my love of Italian food, Italian wine, Italian style, design, even the oft criticised Italian attitude -- baseless IMHO)! Up to tonight I had Been able to aver with truth that I never EVER had a bad meal in Italy. I now have revised my statement... In all my forty years of travel in Italy I have had only one bad meal. sorry. It's still a vanishingly smalln percentage of the total meals I HAVE EATEN AND ENJOYED. But this one, no! No! NO! I also had to change something else as well. I never write restaurant reviews. Well now I must say, I rarely wiite reviews.

    Very good food. Nice location. Service and prices are fair, sometimes a bit “rough on the edges” but overall it’s a place I recommend and will definitely go back to.

    We had a great dinner for 6 and the experience was perfect, the food, music on background, service.. I strongly recommend Parlor for fine dining.

    As Americans, we arrived promptly for our 8:00pm reservation. That said, we were the second table to be seated. The staff was welcoming with full smiles as we we walked through the cozy space of the Parlor. Our friendly server Stefano (who spoke almost perfect English) presented the menu to us with his suggestions. Everything sounded wonderful and when our dishes arrived we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! We ordered wines btg so that we were able to compliment every flavor. Their wine list and btg board offered a collection that was interesting, well priced and enjoyable.
