Firstly the the setting is beautiful, We enjoyed a nice walk an a few beers before our meal . Nice friendly service, by the owners , they really do look after you. And then the food …….. all I can say is absolutely amazing! I had Gurnard my wife had the best cuts of pork. The veg was tasty so obviously fresh and local. Portion size was just right. Presentation, perfect . The owners and chef are truly professional. Thank you we will be back .

I've already talked about the wonderful balance that Roger Brook achieves in his dishes. I therefore just need to add that there is an elegance and sophistication about everything which he does which never crosses over into gratuitous refinement; this man is the real deal.

Parva Farmhouse is a lovely, intimate restaurant. The building, including the lounge where you can have an aperitif and the small restaurant area itself, is beautiful; and the food and service was fantastic.

The whole way of operating is geared towards actually making and serving excellent food at a price which is not prohibitive, so not being caught in the tedious trappings of exclusivity with all it entails And it really works: menu is given out by email the day before, one can make a choice then. Food is excellent, imaginative, detailed in the marrying of flavours, with some dishes being much more than the sum of their parts.
