This was by far the best restaurant we ate at while in Lisbon. The place was so relaxing and the pairing of wine with our outstanding meal was exceptional. A must is to leave room for dessert.

Anna, her husband and the whole staff made us feel very welcome and part of an extended family. The food was delicious and the wine pairings suggested, and sampled first, were perfect. A great meal in a great gem of a restaurant.

This is the most adorable little restaurant. We celebrated our 30th anniversary with them and it was such a treat. The service and the food are wonderful. We highly reccommend Pastanaga!!

What an amazing restaurant. Fabulous food. Lovely approach to wine choice with tasting. Sorted a birthday desert for us. Lovely staff and staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting something a little bit special. Thank you for a great evening.

Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a very, very long time. The service was impeccable, and I love the fact that the Saumier came and gave us a taste of four different wines for us to choose from. Each entrée was better than the next and the desserts werewonderful. I would recommend it to anyone.

We chose this restaurant after seeing the good reviews & it certainly lived up to them on our visit. The menu had a lovely personal touch & the food was so flavoursome. The owners truly cared about the food & wine they served & made our visit special. Sampling the wine before selecting at the table was an excellent idea. We were looked after well & I would certainly recommend this wonderful little find for small parties with its intimate touch.

We were greeted at the front door by the owner, who could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Shortly after being seated, the chief came by out table to answer any questions we might have about the menu. We then each ordered a glass of a local red wine, but the wine steward can to our table with a bottle of the wine ordered and two additional bottles for a tasting ( we selected a different wine ). Of course, the food was outstanding. After asking for the check, I inquired if someone might direct us to an area where we could find a taxi. The owner overheard and said our waiter would walk us to a taxi stand…….and if we we couldn’t find a cab he would personally pay for an Uber to take us to our hotel. I loved the restaurant, the owner and the people that worked there. It was one the best dinning experiences I’d had in a very long time.

Great restaurant! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The food was insanely delicious yet unpretentious. Just how I like it. Try the white port tonic drink. I had two. Every bite of our meal was just right!

Very thoughtful menu items! Appetizers - aubergine, chicken satay and pork wrapped around prune was all excellent and my perch with rice fantastic. My wife had the poultry pot pie and that was excellent as well. Deserts very good but not as good as the meal. Wines were presented well as we were given tastes of three and it helped us decide which to choose. Great service to top it off!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Pastanaga. The food was wonderful, the owner came out several times to chat and talk about the dishes. We chose this restaurant for a special anniversary meal based on many good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Highly recommended.

Delightful dining experience in this "off the beaten track gem." Charming ambience and outstanding service. Loved the wine tasting offered by the wine steward after determining our tastes. Lovely local wine selection and reasonably priced. We had the pork rolls w/prunes and shrimp w/garlic for starters. Both delicious!

Väldigt mysig restaurang som ligger i en av Lissabons trevliga gränder. Maten (framförallt förätterna) var väldigt goda. Personalen var helt otroligt duktiga, trevliga och kompetenta. Även trevligt att ägarna var på plats och hälsade på matgästerna. Rekommenderar ett besök!
