5.5/10Very poor service, even for the low Viennese standards. 1/2h waiting time to order drinks (on Monday evening!), waiter doesn’t inquire whether you want more drinks, doesn’t inquire whether the food was any tasty. 1/2h waiting time for check. Steak was cold, shrimps were cold. Cover charge €3 pp includes NOTHING! Not even a knife for the steak! Avoid.

We got Pad Thai with shrimp but it was a bit too oily. Tasty but oily. The price is higher than avg due to location, maybe?

10/10The location of this restaurant (right next to St. Peter's Church in the City Center of Vienna) is great. We sat outside, had excellent food, served by friendly waiters. We had it all: Soups, prawns, salads, rib-eye steak, all excellent.

9.5/10The restaurant was very well appointed with a great ambience . Our waitress was fine though could have been friendlier, the service was good and when my meal arrived as duck rather than chicken it was whisked away with apologies and quickly replaced with what I had ordered by a very efficient waiter . In fairness our original waitress did come over to apologise for getting my order wrong afterwards so all in all a lovely evening . The food was delicious . Would definitely recommend.

Very nice atmosphere and good Thai food. I had the green curry and eggplant stir fry. Very nicely presented. The service was excellent!

10/10We came here for the mango sticky rice…they were out of it….had the pad thai and a bellini and my mother had a beef curry…both were very good. The desert - sticky rice with durian, was more like a soup with some rice in it, not what i expected. Kind of pricy for thai - 78€ with a 20% discount from tripadvisor. But you have to keep in mind that it is in the center of Vienna

9/10Have not been there in a while but was happy to see that Patara is, as always, a consistently good restaurant with excellent service, and very good Thai food. The outdoor dining is wonderful in the summer too! I'd like to highlight again that the servers are excellent and very courteous which is not always the standard in Vienna.

10/10best thai food outside thailand, I think even better than a lot of places in thailand itself try the sea bass in panang sauce, tghe branzino with lime or the chicken with cashew nuts and spring onion

10/10We love Patara and try to go there at least once a quarter. The food seems authentic and is very good. The staff is really nice and helpful and the whole experience is breathtaking.

8/10When we asked for the bill they had forgotten to give us the discount. Luckily we noticed and told them. They of course provided us with a new invoice.
