We ate at this restaurant recently on the back of universal rave reviews. The food was of good quality, though some of the tapas portions were tiny and the whole experience was disjointed. The accompaniments listed as pre starters came out after the starters and there was no way of knowing the portion sizes of any of the dishes, so you were never sure what you were getting. The menu is only in Portugese and the waiter was friendly and patiently talked us through each dish, but it became a memory test and the restaurant would benefit from translating the menu into other languages to take the strain off the waiter and make ordering simpler.

Overall, possibly the tapas format is not for us, but I have to say that the meal was booked for my wife's birthday evening and whilst the food quality was good enough, we found the overall experience and some of the portion sizes disappointing.

Portugal in a plate. Authentic, generous and delicious food. Highly recommend if you want something to remember your visit to Porto. Right on the bend in the road, doesn't shout about itself so quiet hard to find but it is well worth it! Go there!

The food was delicious. We had kale soup, a meat and cheese platter, delicious bread, cod croquettes and sausage with garlic and herbs and mozzarella and tomato skewers and everything was perfect! The menu was in Portuguese and the server translated the whole thing for us. He could not have been nicer and we could not have had a better dinner. We will definitely go back here.

Everyone who works here is just as lovely as their food! I appreciated how they patiently translated the menu for me and every customer who do not read Portuguese. The waiter explains it helps them in talking to the customers. I am so glad to have found this place!

Very interesting food. The waiter helped us choose four “typical” Portuguese small plates and a local wine. We added a dessert to top it all off. The bill was more than reasonable. One of our best restaurant experiences in Porto.

Excellent food, great customer service and a lovely friendly atmosphere. There was plenty of variety and the dishes were spectacularly light and tasty. Standout plates included the Duques and the Rissol do Carne, as well as the well-priced wine list and the delicious port wine ice cream to close. I would thoroughly recommend this place - the staff could not do enough to help and I would definitely return.

Amazing find! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and will explain the Portuguese menu in English. The tapas style allows you to try many different regional specialties. The food and wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
