Marvellous people, smiling, kind, available to explain all the menu and to suggest the best dishes depending on the personal tastes. Definitively suggested!

Cozy intimate setting, caring staff. Our servers recommended the Portugese version of
Tapas. There were many small dishes, ham and sausage, fig jam and cheeses, olives in garlic.
There were scrumptious fish cakes, tasty stewed chicken, and dessert was offered but we were
Too full! We would highly recommend

I've been here twice, and loved it both times. The second time I brought family who were visiting from overseas. This is the perfect place to introduce people to the best of traditional Portuguese cuisine. The small plate format lets you try lots of different flavors. Everything is delicious. Service is warm and friendly. A great meal.

My wife and I wanted a decent meal close to where we were staying in lower Porto after a long coach journey. We found a little paradise 100m from our budget hotel. Patio du Duque exceeded expectations. I can best describe it as an upmarket tapas experience for a very fair price -- and as South African residents trying to survive on European prices, that says a lot. The ambience was superb. The only reason we did not come back for a second night was that we are approaching our later years and my doctor would have been horrified at my cholesterol level after plates of fried rissole, smoked ham and cheese. He goes by the maxim, "if it tastes good, it is probably not good for you." But you only live once.

Prices are very good for this small cozy restaurant. You will get very good authentic Portuguese food. A bottle of house wine from Dura Valley is only 8 Euro.

We had a very helpful waitress who guided us through hlthe whole menu. The food was all very delicious and affordable. Unfortunately when it came to receiving the bill it took over 20min before we had to get up and go to the till where our bill was sitting. Overall an enjoyable and local experience.

Menu was average. I would recommend adding a few things such as a gourmet bruschetta, pates with the mixed platter, second bread variety, morcilla sausage with the chorizo sausage, the fejoada was good, maybe add some pasta option.

The hosts were very nice.
