Cada uno de los detalles de este restaurante ubicado en pleno Eixample señorial barcelonés destila la personalidad (y la dedicación) de Lizbeth y Raphael. Ambos han moldeado minuto a minuto, a base de esfuerzo e ilusión, el alma de un local en el que vamos a sentirnos como en casa desde el primer momento. Un despliegue de elegancia con toques vintage, en el que brillan con luz propia algunos grandes platos de vocación saludable y mediterránea. Desde unos tagliatelle con salsa de tomate y verduras ecológicas a un tofu ahumado con verduras y salsa de miso.
Capítulo aparte merecen sus pescados, deliciosos, que llegan a nuestra mesa sin apenas aderezos, dejando que la materia prima brille con luz propia. Su risotto de bogavante es un dechado de melosidad y sabor, mientras que el pulpo con salsa teriyaki, ajo negro y puré de castañas es un buen ejemplo de la apuesta del equipo de cocina por los superalimentos, la salud y, cuando la ocasión lo requiere, también la fusión. Los carnívoros también serán felices en Pau Claris 190, ya que su magret de pato o el solomillo de rubia gallega les van a ordenar a gritos “cómeme”. Y cualquiera les dice que no.

We decided to spend the last evening here in Barcelona. and that was the right decision: pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, professional staff. From myself, I recommend trying duck liver. This is amazing!

We have celebrated my mom’s birthday at Pau Claris 190. The food was great, really good service, the atmosphere was light and cosy. I’d definitely visit this place again!

I could not recommend this place more. I travel often for work and pleasure and make a point to cook and eat everywhere I go. The staff is a pleasure. The wine recommendations were spot on. The atmosphere is intimate and bright with fantastic smells from the open kitchen and fresh cut flowers anywhere there aren’t already bottles of fine spanish wines. The plates are all as creative and thoughtful as they are delicious. There is a truffled honey goat cheese starter that is absolutely unreal. The rack of lamb is possibly the best I have ever had. The crown jewel was the dessert, the chef special with a delicate, light culture cheese on a bed of crunchy, toasted chocolate and hazelnuts, topped with a sort of pumpkin preserve, gold (yes, gold) encrusted chocolate pebbles, and garnished with edible winter flowers. Frankly, it was downright innovative. I’ve never had anything like it, and really, the only thing in common with any other desert i can think of is the chocolate. As it is our honeymoon, before we left, one of the owners gave my wife flowers. We left happy and immeasurably impressed by this culinary gem in Barcelona.
We had an excellent dinner last night. Each dish was delicious and the service was great. My husband really enjoyed his steak and my fish was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

We had a great evening. The staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The food quality and presentation were both excellent. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff all conveyed their best wishes. We would definitively go back and we highly recommend it to others. Excellent on all levels!
We celebrated a special occasion at Pau Claris and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We had the scallops, a creative mixed salad and turbot. My husband is a vegetarian and they prepared a lovely vegetable entree for him. The wine was outstanding too. Highly recommend!
This lovely restaurant was found on Trip Advisor and confirmed to be excellent by our hotel concierge. So we had high expectations...and we were not disappointed!!! Beautiful ambiance, great service, delightful menu suggestions and delicious food with tasteful presentation all earned it a 10/10 in our books. Enjoy your meal!
first they told us to sit at a table, but then said that the table was reserved, we should move another table. it was an attitude not worthy of a restaurant of this level. the food we ordered was below avarage, and they offered olives to apologize! I certainly do not recommend. It was below my expactation

Warm service, interesting music mix. Beautifully prepared food; inventive mix of flavors and gorgeous plating. Scallop appetizer was especially delicious.
Stake was perfect. Overlook of dishes good. Shrimp tartar- seemed to be frozen ones not fresh. ( do not recommend) Scallops were delicious, recommend !!!
