Need work on the staff education. Asked for aperitif, ordered KIR (a classic aperitif). Waiter brought 2 bottles of beer! (we had pointed to the word KIR printed on menu when ordering). He also struggled with multiple parts of the ordering process. All while owner of establishment was outside restaurant, talking on the phone for at least 15 minutes. Once all was figured out, the meal was quite enjoyable. The highlight was the DAL Soup-creamy, well seasoned. Other dishes (A Biryani and a Curry) were tasty and standard.

I think this is one of the most enjoyable places I've eaten at. The staff are enormously helpful and surprised me when I asked for a low-salt dish by telling me all dishes were made from scratch to order - I could have anything I wanted! While I waited I was given a large glass of whisky on the house in addition to my lassi order (which was the best lassi I've had).

The spices in the dish were just perfect, with such tender pieces of lamb. A free, freshly made cheese naan found its way to my table and was a perfect accompaniment to the main. It wasn't just me receiving freebies either - I saw a good number of naans flying out to slightly bemused-looking customers who hadn't ordered them. Really good way to treat the guests. You'd expect that the price of the things I did pay for would be quite high with that kind of service, but it was actually very reasonably priced.

To the owners: please send someone to Brick Lane in London to show them how it's done!
To customers: go every night as I wish I could!

I had some standard fare: pakora, chicken tikka masala, lassi and garlic naan. All the food was fresh and delicious, especially the garlic naan which was nicely toasted in the tandoor and had a sprinkling of tasty mustard seed on top. Friendly service. English- and French-speaking.

This is the second time that I've come here and I must say that this is my favourite restaurant for Indian/Pakistani cuisine. The food is absolutely FRESH every time, and if I try something new it's always a pleasant surprise. The service is very homely and exceptional. Highly, highly recommended

We arrived at 8:30. Waiter took order. He came back twice to confirm details of order, which included two mains, naan, rice, wine and beer. Ten minutes later, he brought us a single poppodom and the beer. We then sat there for an hour and waited. In that hour we asked for another beer. It never came. We left when others who arrived after us got their food while we still sat there with an empty beer.
