Love this little restaurant, always return when in Lucca. Lovely owners who deserve to do well, they serve great quality food , some with an Asian touch.

My wife and I dined at Per 21 last night and we both think it could be one of the best meals we have had in Italy. The attention to detail in the fusion of flavors as well as the presentation of all three courses was extraordinary. Gabriele has created a really interesting menu (predominantly using the freshest seafood) and it is sure to be a hit with guests wanting quality dishes that are out of this world in the flavor they deliver. Julia also made an excellent suggestion when selecting a wine for the evening which added to the enjoyment of the meal.

A smart little restaurant right in the middle of Lucca. The fish was very nicely cooked and the sauces were different and interesting. Be aware that the set menu is simply half portions of à la carte dishes (but not at half price!).

Another delicious dinner at Per 21. Gabriele’s creativity with only the freshest of ingredients is simply excellent. This combined with Julia being responsible for front of house makes a dinner to remember. Simply perfect in every way. Thank you so much. Best wishes David & Jan

Enjoyed our first visit to Per 21. A good meal overall - excellent scallops and sea bass, but my pasta dish was a bit disappointing. Service was excellent. Very quiet, just us and another table but its a small restaurant so ambience was fine.

Food was really great, an interesting mix of cuisines gave a twist on traditional Italian food. Service and wine were great also. I have no complaints
