The food was really very nice, with a good range. And the beetroot hummus was excellent! Very friendly, very good service. The video on the screen was a bit odd, so facing away might be an idea. But all in all, first rate.

Wow what an amazing meal, we had 4 different types of Hummus one of which was a beetroot one this was sooooo good, Then for our mains we had Swarma Liz had a Chicken one and I had the Chicken and Lamb mixed, amazing flat breads too, all washed down with a Long Island Ice Tea each. Amazing service, if you are ever in Canning Town then you must visit Petit Café. And to top it all off the staff where awesome especially Hussein 🤩

Simple but tasty food, great Falaval and Garlic sauce , great lamb enjoyed by others in the group … loved the stuffed vine leaves also. Good service was just surprisingly quiet on a Sat night so not much buzz

We were staying at the Ibis opposite and decided to give Petit Cafe a try as it was a stones throw away from our hotel. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, would definitely visit again.

We had to wait 1hr 15 mins for our starter ( just hommous) Other guests were served before us although they arrived much later. Takeaway drivers arrived and therefore the one member of staff in the kitchen prioritised them before us. 1 hr 45 min later , our main meal arrived. Meat was cold, chips were hot. Service was terrible. No apologies. And the receipts was incorrect - charged twice for the starter. Yet again - no apology. Will never visit again.

Close to Ibis hotel, clean with very pleasant staff, but be aware that this is our third visit - we like the food - and service has always been slow as there have only been two staff members running the kitchen and front of house together, so go with enough time to wait! This time the food wasn’t as good. Somewhat bland and the shawarma was dry.

This restaurant was a great find. Food tasted authentic and fresh, amazing quality. They just need more staff, very slow service only one person to cater for all tables so you wait forever to receive food, drinks or any other requests.

The wait for the food was quite a while and when it eventually came it was cold and dry. One of my friends mains came before her starters. The pictures on google were really deceiving, as the place was a lot smaller and not as well presented. Would not go again.

I rang and asked the restaurant where to park, they told me McDonald’s or Morrisons, I parked at Morrisons and our car was locked in there when we got back (as a small paper sign as you drive in tells you the gates close at 10pm). It took 30 mins to get it out. So please ignore the staff if they tell you this. Even without this expensive headache, the experience at Petit Cafe was disappointing. The food was okay, I enjoyed my salad. Two people had burgers and said they were below average. The vegetarian feast was better received. The real let down was the service… They didn’t have the table ready and had no idea there was a reservation. They brought us the wrong drinks, repeatedly forgot to bring over things we asked for and didn’t offer us a second drink in the many hours we were there. They didn’t clear our plates even when we had clearly finished, they were left there for 2 hours. It wasn’t even busy, there were 3 tables and 2 members of staff. I initially felt bad leaving a negative review as the girls seemed nice enough, just rather incompetent. The parking advice was what tipped this into a terrible experience. Oh and they hilariously snuck in a service charge, despite providing next to no service. I would highly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

The food tasted nice but was only warm when served. The place has a nice atmosphere but the service was very slow with just one person serving the tables. Had to wait a while to order, and then wait quite a bit more for the food. Drinks were served after we received our meal, which was not good. Our table was not cleared until we left, and we were not asked if we wanted anything else (food or drinks)

The food is always good but the service and atmosphere could do with a boost. Extremely slow to even take our drinks order and drinks took 20 mins to arrive. They were so slow we made sure to order our next round as soon as we received the first. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all but not the place to go if you want atmosphere. More of a quiet bite to eat or lunch rather than dinner.
