When I sat at my table in restaurant Pho Hanoi, and was served with a delicious plate of roasted pork, herbs and steamed rice, and reflected on the modest, but efficient appointments of the restaurant, the South-east Asian friendliness of the waitress and the modest price of my dish, I was for a moment back in Hanoi, Vietnam, which I visited some years ago. The quality and taste of the dish was fully up to the best I remembered from my Vietnam journey. In short: Pho Hanoi is a small restaurant behind an unassuming shop front at the Botersloot. The furniture is simple. Service of the staff is warm and friendly, just what you can expect from persons with their roots in South-east Asia. The food served is freshly made and delicious, from the Vietnamese cuisine. Prices are modest. Pho Hanoi is a real find and I can recommend this restaurant emphatically.

The best Pho I've ever eat in Rotterdam. Besides, BBQ meat and Taro drink is so tasty as well. I will definitely come back soon to enjoy the food in this restaurant.

Pho Hanoi is a very cosy restaurant in Rotterdam. I had the noodle soup with chicken and two shrimp springrols. Both tasted really great! I especially liked that I got an extra plate of extra vegetables/spices for my soupe. This way I could decide for myself if I needed extra spices or vegetables. I'll admit the decoration is basic. But I learned during my travels around the world that the looks of a restaurant are not important at all. So don't be bothered by it and enjoy your food! I'll usually make use of the take away and eat their food at my own place.

You can find delicious food in this small venue in the heart of Rotterdam. Although a bit hidden and small, this restaurant serves exquisite food. Prices are honest compared to the big plates they serve. There isn't any restaurant owner friendlier than the Vietnamese lady who works there. I personally would recommend any plate they serve. Delightful, calm and delicious, I find myself here at least once a week.

Good, inexpensive traditional vietnamese food. Goi Cuon are really great, big and fresh with lots of shrimp (or beef or chicken or veggie) and some omelet. Also had the beef salad - the two dishes together cost 10 euro, and the fresh chili sauce and free green tea are a plus.
The minus? Small place, could use a bit of a wipe-up, tables are mostly for two people with just a few tables for four. But it's great to get a cheap Vietnamese lunch! Lil V is so delicious but kind of expensive....
