About the restaurant Picatostes

High standard of food for preparation and presentation. Highly recommended. Ate early so the restaurant was quiet that mattered not. Good service and chef came to the table to introduce himself. Quiet street location that is typical of a large city in Pain or Italy. Famous for its bread. Would visit again anytime.

Fabulous restaurant with amazing food at really reasonable prices. Staff were also fantastic, along with the chef who came out to speak to us to check we're loved our food. Really can't wait to visit again

We were the only diners in the restaurant until we were eating our dessert. It was a very quiet night. The amuse bouche and breads with dips were lovely and the food was very good. However it all seemed very rushed. We were given no time between courses and our whole meal was completed within an hour. Not what we are used to. The chef was very friendly and came to speak to us to see that all was ok but our Spanish is limited and it was difficult to explain the timing issue. All in all we enjoyed the food experience and hope the restaurant is successful and continues to thrive, albeit at a slower pace for the diners.
